Word Count → 2589 Words

Warnings/Notes → Because the first batch of general headcanons I wrote for Myth is about two years old and is so unbelievably cringe and out of character to me that I found myself writing this without even knowing.

As said before, I don't like the general headcanons I've previously written for Myth mainly because I wrote them pretty soon after they debuted, so obviously not a lot of time to flesh out their characters and get out of that awkward stage, so the next few chapters are probably gonna be me just re-writing those first few cringy chapters.

💀 First date 💀

Y'know, considering you were a human and weren't supposed to be here, going to the Underworld for your first date wasn't all that bad.

Sure, you got some weird looks from some of the demons walking past you, and you were certain you saw a few other reapers looking around wildly like they thought they had managed to miss a soul whilst working and Death-Sensei was about to appear out of nowhere and smite them into the void.

It was kind've funny to watch, though you expected the reapers around here to be a little less... Skeleton-y. Well, that was using the reaper next to you as a base reference, although much like you, she seemed to stick out like a sore thumb looking just as human as you did.

Calliope simply did not give two flying fucks, though. She just had on her Hellbrand Oakleys, walking around like she ran the damn place with you following behind her.

And where would one go for a first date in hell, you may ask?

To the nearest Underworldian zoo, of course.

Calli had suggested it, saying she went there all the time when she was but a mere skull in a ball of shadow (you assumed that meant she was, like, a young child or something? You didn't know the reapers aged like that, but maybe she was a special case?)

"Just make sure you stick close to me, don't want those demon bros to get any funny ideas," She'd warned you. You, being used to all of this after working with Hololive for so long, merely accepted this with a lighthearted shrug.

It was certainly an interesting experience, that was for sure.

Most of the enclosures were bordered with wrought iron fences, those ones with those pointy arrows on the top, but you weren't entirely certain that would keep the creatures out, which was probably remedied with some sort've magic barrier. That being said, you still didn't lean too far through the fence in order to see those funky-looking tigers with eyes all over their bodies. (You were also certain that the tiny one that looked into your eyes loved you now if the way it slow blinked at you said anything).

At the end of the day, you found yourself walking out the front gates being watched by a rather sleeping-looking Cerberus with a giant plush of the previously mentioned three-headed dog held carefully in your arms. Calli had one of those drinking hats set upon her head, a shiny bright one with little devil horns on it.
