Ayunda Risu - Romantic Headcanons

Warnings/Notes → Whoop old writing alert. I need to watch more Risu because this entire chapter was based on her wiki. If you want some HoloID there are a few chapters near the end of the book so go have a looksie there

🐿️ First date 🐿️

For your first date, Risu had insisted on going on a classical picnic date in a forest. Being a squirrel, Risu had connections with a few other forest critters so she could find the perfect spot for you two to hang out.

Before you even went out to the forest, you and Risu had fun just joking around while you made the food. Pretty much everything Risu made included some form of nuts. Peanuts, pistachios, walnuts, pecans, you name it. Of course, if you have a nut allergy or something similar, Risu would somewhat happily cut back on the nuts, or at least she would start being more careful where she stored them.

You ended up having a pretty good time.

🐿️ First kiss 🐿️

Your first kiss with Risu happened on a fairly normal day. 

You were just in your room, playing your favourite game while Risu finished up one of her streams. You were vaguely aware of her cheerfully boding her viewers farewell. The door to her streaming room creaked as it opened, the sound of Risu's footsteps came closer and closer to the room you were currently in. She was probably coming to curl up on a chair next to you and watch you play, when you heard the neighbours dog barking loudly.

Normally, you wouldn't of thought twice about it, other that the noise being a little annoying, but in this case, you paused your game and rushed out to find Risu curled up in the corner. Her tail was bushed up to twice its size and hear hands were pressed over her ears.

Your carefully made your presence known, giving Risu a few headpats to help calm her down. You knew all too well how afraid the squirrel was of dogs (all except a yubi loving one, that is). You gave her a few kisses on her nose, something that always made Risu laugh.

Risu gave you a wide-eyed look, and she shyly leaned forward and gave you a soft kiss on the lips. You were a bit surprised, but you felt Risu's shaking decrease considerably, so everything was fine.

🐿️ Getting sick 🐿️

Risu's pretty capable when it comes to looking after a sick you. Most of the time, it's nothing too bad, so she'll just get you some saline spray to help with your blocked nose if you had one, some tissues, and some warm food.

Once you're feeling ok, Risu will just snuggle with you while either reading to you, or just watching something on tv. Most of the time you fall asleep while watching the tv, so Risu's learned how to shuffle around without waking you up. When you do wake up, your head will be resting on Risu's lap or tail with the squirrel watching something different on tv.

🐿️ Jealousy 🐿️

Risu can be quite clingy when she wants to, but she's rarely ever jealous, same goes for you. Although Risu has told you of the few times Korone had talked to her about a few different methods on how to keep creeps away.

Risu looked like she was having horror flashbacks as she told you about them. You didn't blame her, I mean, how you feel having your mother figure expertly telling you about her to use a small bowl, a mirror, a needle and thread, and a straight razor to threaten someone.

Miscellaneous:

🐿️ Okayu and Korone treating you like their child because once you start dating Risu you become the Okakoro child-in-law. You cannot deny, it is inevitable and you will be spoiled

🐿️ Finding caches of nuts stored around the house (depends on if you are allergic or not). It sparked a few questions the first time you opened a cupboard to grab a cup to get a drink and just got a face full of nuts (wink wink)

🐿️ Risu will let you use her tail as a pillow, or a blankets, or she just lets you cuddle it because it's really soft and fluffy. Big plus because she's got special squirrel fur that's taken care of with special shampoos which negates any allergies, so if even you do have a fur allergy Risu is special and doesn't trigger it. Best pillow, ten out of ten

🐿️ Spending afternoons just baking pastries with each other with random videos playing in the background. Probably some of the best times every because it's so chill and helps you forget about everything and you get yummy food as a bonus

🐿️ You two 100% have a treehouse in you backyard that you just chill in. Or just built straight from your house. On a completely unrelated side note, Risu feels like she would partake in the devil's lettuce so sometimes she'll make, uh, special brownies and the two of you will just chill in the tree house all afternoon probably watching some wacky movie

🐿️ Iofi and Moona treat you like their own genmate ever since they saw how happy Risu was with you. Iofi more so than Moona, but after winning over both of their hearts through some probably random stunt, they welcomed you with open arms

🐿️ When you first started dating, however, both Moona and Iofi were pretty protective of Risu. Iofi gave you the benefit of the doubt, but if you weren't priorly a part of Hololive Moona would've whipped out the axe

🐿️ Turns out Risu is also a bed hog. She may be a squirrel in a humanoid body, but this little thing will starfish and take up most of the bed, forcing you to the edge. Sometimes you'll wake up with a tail in your face and hair in your mouth

🐿️ Protect your nuts, fellow gamers. I won't specify which ones I'm talking about, but protect them with your life
