Chapter 19

It had been hours since Tsukki's mother had left. Hinata's mother was still right there comforting him. Although he had stopped crying long ago, it was still nice to have her there. Hinata had been sleeping through the whole thing. It was rare for that to happen but it did. Hinata must have been really exhausted. I mean who wouldn't be. He had just lost a baby and all the stress was catching up to him.

Tsukki smiled as he watched Hinata sleep peacefully and that he didn't have to witness what had happened with his mother just hours ago.

"Kei, you should really go to sleep now" Hinata's mother said and Tsukki sat up and walked over to the bed. He started to fidget with his fingers contemplating if he could sleep next to him or not.

It was like Hinata's mother could read his mind. It was like she knew what he wanted to do before he knew himself. She smiled softly at him. "I don't think they'll mind if you sleep on the bed with him." She said as she got a blanket and a pillow the nurses left for them and went to a chair she could sleep on for the night.

Kei blushed a little at being so easy to read but slowly got into the bed nonetheless. As soon as he found a comfortable position Hinata relaxed and curled into the new found warmth and sighed contently. Tsukki smiled and put an arm around him and buried his nose in the soft hair. The scent of his omega brought him the satisfaction and calmness he needed. It was then that Tsukki felt the most relaxed since he's been to the hospital and since his mother left.

Tsukki finally let himself drift off to sleep knowing that Hinata was in his arms and safe. It was all that mattered to him right now. Tsukki kissed Hinata's forehead and drifted off to sleep.

The next morning Hinata was the first to wake up. He saw that Tsukki was right next to him. He smiled softly and put his hand on his head. Once looked around he saw that he was in a hospital room. It was then he figured out why he was there. He quickly brought the hand that was on Tsukki's head to his chest.

He grabbed at the hospital gown he was changed into and then he started to breathe really hard and fast. He quickly brought his other hand to his stomach and tears started to form and blur his vision.

He started to hyperventilate and got up from the bed to go find a bathroom. He couldn't see where he was going so he had the hand that wasn't on his chest out in front of him to guide himself. He took shaky steps to what he thought was the bathroom door.

Tsukki woke up to find that Hinata wasn't in the bed with him anymore and sat up straight away. He looked around the room to see him in the middle of the room crying and walking towards the door to exit the room.

"Shoyou?" Tsukki called out but Hinata couldn't hear him. Tsukki got up and went to get him. "Hey, Sho, It's okay.... It's okay" Tsukki said as he went and slowly hugged Hinata. He slowly guided them both back to the bed and sat him on his lap. "It's okay, love.... We'll get through this together... It's okay" Tsukki said as Hinata gripped Tsukki's shirt and started crying.

"Kei" Hinata's voice was so broken and sad. He moved his hand down to his stomach and cried harder. "Kei" He cried out. "They're gone" Hinata said and Tsukki brought Hinata closer to him. "They're gone, They're gone, They're gone" Hinata repeated again and again.

"Shh... I know, love... I know" Tsukki said as tears started to stream down his cheeks. He hated seeing Hinata like this. He was crying his heart out. "I know, love... It gonna be oka-"
