Tsukkihina ~ secret mate

Chapter 8

Tsukki closed the door in Yamaguchi's face and stood in front of it. Tsukki locked the door eventually and grabbed the snacks and ran to his room. He threw the snacks on Hinata and put a hoodie on to cover himself.

"Kei?" Hinata said tiredly. "What are you doing?" Hinata said getting up and hugging him from behind. Hinata took in deep breaths of Tsukki's scent and sat back down.

"Sho... Yamaguchi is outside my house right now and I need you to stay in here till I get back okay?" Tsukki said as fast as he could and ran out the room. Hinata got up and closed the door, he locked it just in case.

Tsukki got back to the front door and opened it slowly. He could see an angry Yamaguchi. Yamaguchi had his arms crossed and he was tapping his foot.

"Kei Tsukkishima... who... who was it" Yamaguchi said, taking off his shoes and walking into his house. He walked to the living room and sat down.

"Yamaguchi... it doesn't matter who it is. It's not your business anyways" Tsukki said as he also walked to the kitchen since he still hasn't eaten anything. Akiteru sensed something was wrong so he got his food and slowly made his way out of the kitchen. Tsukki's scent was also very nervous but also a bit annoyed.

Yamaguchi got up and followed after him. He was always following after him. Yamaguchi sighed and looked at Tsukki as he closed his fridge.

"You're right.... I just wish it could be my business" Yamaguchi said and walked up to Tsukki. "Tsukki... I... I like you, okay... please go out with me" Yamaguchi closed his eyes and waited for Tsukki to answer him back.

Tsukki sighed and looked Yamaguchi in the eyes. He placed his food down and leaned against the counter. "Yamaguchi... I'm sorry but I don't like you like that" Tsukki said as he turned away and began making some food. "I like someone else" Tsukki's back was faced towards Yamaguchi. He didn't want to see his face as he rejected his best friend. "I'm sorry"

Yamaguchi tried to hold his tears but he couldn't. They just started falling on their own. Yamaguchi felt so hurt. How could he do that? Yamaguchi has been with him through thick and thin. Yamaguchi has loved Tsukki for forever now. Tsukki could hear Yamaguchi crying behind him as he prepared a meal for him and his mate. Tsukki felt like a jerk, he wasn't even facing him. He's gotten many confessions before but this one took the cake.

Yamaguchi wanted to say so much but decided to not say anything at all. Yamaguchi tried calming down before leaving. 'Why couldn't I be the one' Yamaguchi thought as he grabbed his shoes and started running home.

Tsukki let out a long sigh and continued to cook. He didn't like this feeling at all. So much has happened in the last few days. Tsukki prepared the food, he just got done with, onto a plate and left to go get Hinata.

"Sho?" Tsukki said as he knocked on the door. "It's me, open the door. I made some food" Tsukki said as Hinata walked out of the room with tired eyes. He looked so small and cute in his shirt Tsukki just had to kiss him. Tsukki softly kisses Hinata's lips and that makes Hinata giggle. "Come on" Tsukki said before walking towards the kitchen with Hinata close behind.

"Kei, why was Yamaguchi here?" Hinata asked and sat down at the table as Tsukki placed the plate of food in front of him. "Did he see the mate mark?"

"It was nothing... no he didn't see the mate mark but he did see the hickeys and bites... you sure know how to make those noticeable" Tsukki chuckled softly at the end making Hinata lightly hit him and stuff his face with food.

"It's not like you're any better. I have marks all over my body... how am I supposed to practice with hickeys on my thighs" Hinata complained as he ate more of his food.
