I wanted this to focus on her escape from Chad/Cameron. Dedicated to @woodleys, one of my fave authors here. read her book in two days and just loved everything about it. meredith and chase forever<3333 hope u guys like it.

The Heartbreaker’s Club

Meredith’s POV:

Chad kissing and touching me while calling me Nova, I thought I was gonna get raped. This couldn’t happen, I thought to myself as his hands ran from my collarbones to my breasts. Be strong, Meredith, think of something.

I let him continue kissing me, his hands running over my thighs as he goes to my stomach. This could probably distract him while I try to unknot the ropes on my wrists. Good thing I didn’t clip my nails yet. If no one can be able to save me, I have to try to save myself. I start to feel the knot loosen a little from the bed post, and then it comes off completely as I slip it off.

“I love you so much, Nova” Chad says huskily to my lips before he kisses them. I didn’t respond, just kept my eyes open while he devoured my lips sloppily. “Kiss me back!” He yelled, me wincing at his voice. He’s scaring me right now, so I kiss him back begrudgingly. Ok, this is a great distraction for him. Running my tongue across his bottom lip, he groans as he goes to my neck. I start for the second rope on my wrist, finding a hole in the knot and it loosens slowly.

Yes, I thought to myself when the knot finally comes off and both of my hands are free. I still have to play it off that I’m tied up so I hold the ropes tightly he while goes to my collarbone then breast. He unzips my dress, I stiffen holding in a scream as I look around for something to hit him with nearby.

“I’m going to make love to you, just like I used to” the dress stops at my stomach going to my legs and stops because my legs are tied.

“Chad, how can we make love when my legs are tied?” I teased to him, with a pouty look on my face. I see him gulp with the lust in his eyes. He starts to untie them and I smile internally, because he fell for it. With my legs and arms untied, he comes to my face and gives me a tender kiss. I find a piece of glass near me and stab him in the shoulder.

“Ahhh! You bitch!” He yells out in pain, rolling off the bed with me but I kick him the balls. Grabbing my dress, I run out the cabin as fast as I can. My limbs start to burn as I try to find a road, Cameron yelling out for me.

“NOVA! I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME! YOU BETRAYED ME!” I continue to run until I see the grave pavement.

“Oh thank God!” I fall to the ground to catch my breath but had to keep running since Chad’s on my tail. Still running, I slow my pace when I hear the roar of a car. “HELP!” I wave my hands in the like a mad woman for the car to stop, the car slows down and pulls over in front of me.

“Oh, my god Meredith!” I see Anastasia run to me, pulling me into a hug. I start to cry when I see her, hot tears running down my face. I hear her sobbing in my hair, stroking it as she starts to ask what happened to me. “You’re half naked, why?” she questions still in her embrace. I forgot to put my dress back on. “You know what, it doesn’t matter. You’re safe and alive. I love you so much”

“I love you too, Ana.” The car door opens again and reveals Chase, Danny and Avalon.

“Meredith, I’m so sorry for leaving you” Chase comes to me, hugging me tightly.

“It’s my fault, Chase I thought he was you so I went with him. I didn’t know he would do this”

I start saying hysterically but he cuts me off saying “It’s not your fault. It’s mine. I didn’t know my cousin will be like this. Or brother even.” “Brother?”

“I’ll tell you later, right now we have to get you home and dressed” he tried to lighten the mood, I giggle but it’s forced because I’m still scared. “Where is he anyway?” I hear Danny respond. We start to look around and he emerges from the bushes. He had a gun in his hand, pointing it to us. Mainly me. He says nothing as the gun is still at us, my body feels like a statue. Danny walks forward to him, opening his mouth but stops when the gun is pointed to him. Danny stands in his position and holds onto Anastasia.

“Chad, you don’t have to do this” Avalon whispers but we hear it, she’s behind Chase and he’s holding me closely.

“I have to” he says so coldly. He’s about to pull it when we hear sirens from behind us. The police cars come to our direction and yells freeze to him. He’s about to run but another cop fires his gun in the air, making us all jump and yell. Chad drops his gun and puts his hands in the air. They put handcuffs on him, Chase telling him that they shouldn’t hurt him. An ambulance comes too, they put a blanket around me and check my vitals. I’m okay, he didn’t give me any drugs but I’m still shaken up.

They tell me I’m ok but I have to answer some questions at the station. Chad’s in the back of the car, but he yells that he’ll wait for me. I shake my head at his response and hold onto Chase.

“Are you okay?” Chase lifts up my chin so I can see him.

“Yeah,” I say, my voice shaken “still a little scared.”

“You’re fine, it’s over. How did you even escape?”

“I’ll tell you later, I can’t think back at what happened.”

“Okay.” He kisses my forehead and we make our way to Anastasia, Danny and Avalon. Avalon tells me that she called the cops when they were driving here. The car had a GPS so they could find the car that Chad took. Anastasia tells me that she called my mom and that I could go to her house. I’m glad that it’s over, but I feel like it’s still being written.
