Chapter 2: The Girl Infront of Me

 We all finished unpacking our bags, met in Julia's room and where lying down on her bed. The tv was playing but nobody was wathcing it. We had all gotten some rest and where ready to go out and explore L.A! "So what do you guys want to do now?" Elle asked. We all looked at eachother and we already knew. "FOOD!!" We all yelled. We bursted into laughter and then I started to look up restauants near us. After a couple of minutes, I found a restaurant named Saddle Ranch. It was pretty close and had 4/5 stars. "What do you guys think about Saddle Ranch? It's pretty close and-" before I was able to finish what I was saying, Elle and Julia looked at eachother and yelled. "Yes! Yes! Yes! We need to go! That's where all the famous people go!" Elle said. We ordered a table, I grabbed my keys and we headed to Saddle Ranch. Once we got there, we were told to wait in a line until our table was ready. "So who do you think we will see? Do you think we will see TikTokers, singers or actors?" Julia asked us. Elle's face glowed up, she was obssesed with tiktok and tiktokers. " Honestly, I dont care who we see, but I just want to take a picture with them. Can you imagine starting senior year-" She looked over at me, "Sorry Vic, I didnt mean for it to sound as if-" I stopped her from talking. "It's fine, I completley get it! You guys are going into senior year for the first time! I may not feel the same way as ya'll since it's my second time but it doesnt mean that everytime you say senior year, you have to appologize." I explained with a smile. Elle continued her sentence "Can you imagine starting senior year and telling people that you not only went on an awsome trip with your bestfriends but you also met a celeb!" All of a sudden we heard a ton of girls scream. " That means that there's someone famous here!" Elle said as she grabbed Julia's arm. "Hold our spot Vic!" Julia yelled and before I could respond, they were gone. As I was waiting in line, I had noticed that the girl infront of me dropped a paper out of her back pocket. As I bent down to pick it up, the girl turned towards me. "Omg I didnt even realize that I dropped something!" She said. I looked up at her and it felt as if the whole world stopped spinning and we were the last to people on earth. My heart started racing. All I could say was "Wow." "I'm sorry, what was that?" she asked. Omg I didnt think I said wow outloud! "Oh, um sorry, here is your paper" I said as I stood up and handed it to her. "Thanks so much!" She turned away but I kept noticing that everytime she looked down at her phone, she looked sad and somewhat disappointed. "Hey" I said as I tapped on her sholder. "Is everything alright? I cant help but notice that everytime you look at your phone you get sad" She nodded as she said "Yeah everything is alright I guess. I was just supposed to meet someone here for supper but they aren't showing up." As she said that, a waitress called out "Table of three for Victoria." I looked over at the waitress and nodded. "Ill be there in a minute" I looked back over at the girl and let her know that there is always a free seat at my table if her friend didn't show up. I then called Elle and Julia to let them know that our table was ready.
