Chapter 7: The Guy in the Halls

"What do I do?" I whispered. Julia and Elle just kept looking at me. "A bit of help here? I don't want to wake her up. What if she calls him again when she wakes up?" I said looking down at Madison. "Woah, woah, woah." Julia stopped me. "Call who again?" She asked. "I'm not sure, all I know is that he let her wait at Saddle Ranch for 2 hours and then never showed up. That's why she was there when we were and that's why she came and eat with us." I layed my arm over Madison as she was still lying down in the fetus position. Even with a sweatshirt and joggers on, she was freezing. "Do any of yous happen to have a small blanket?" I asked them both. They both shook their heads. I rolled my eyes. "I have one in my room." I said. "Can one of yous go get it? It should be on the bed." Elle nodded and left to go get the small blanket. "Wow Vic, I've never seen you act this way towards anyone. Not even me" She said as she flipped her hair in a joking way. "She didn't deserve to be stood up at Saddle Ranch. You could clearly tell that she really cared for whoever it was that she was on the phone with. If she didn't care for him, than do you think that she would have waited 2 hours for him?" The door opened. It was Elle with the blanket. "Um... guys." Elle said. She looked scared and confused at the same time. She handed me that blanket. "What's wrong Elle?" I asked her as I was putting the blanket over Madison. "There's some guys yelling "Madison, where are you" in the halls. Do you think he's looking for this Madison?" Elle said pointing towards Madison who was still asleep on my laps. "I'm not sure" I said. "Maybe we should wake her up, just in case he is looking for her." Julia and Elle nodded.  "Madison" I said as I shook her a bit. "you need to wake up." Julia and Elle were just standing in front of the bed, looking over at me trying to wake her up. I looked up and them. "Maybe you should move your legs since she is sleeping on your legs." Elle suggested. I tried to move my legs. Madison took a deep inhale. Her hair was all over her face, so I tried to put her hair behind her ear. "Is it morning already?" Madison asked as she was stretching. Julia and Elle laughed. "No it isn't." I said with a smile. "Is everything ok?" Madison asked as she looked over at Elle and Julia. Elle was white as a ghost. All of a sudden we heard loud banging in the halls. "Oh my god, what was that?" Madison asked. The banging was getting closer. "We aren't sure." Elle said. "Should we hide?" Julia asked. "Yeah, that's a good idea. Everyone go in the bathroom and lock the door." I told them. "What about you? Where are you going to hide?" Julia asked me. "I'm not going to hide. Once he comes knocking on the door, Ill open it and explain that nobody is here. If you guys hear me yell than maybe you should come out of the bathroom and try to save me" I said with a smile. None of them laughed. "That was a joke. It was supposed to be funny." Julia and Elle rolled their eyes. "Come on Madison, lets go in the bathroom." They both helped her to the bathroom since she was still having a hard time walking on her own. All of a sudden, I heard a loud banging at our door. I took a deep breath so that I can try to mentally prepare myself for what was about to happen but I didn't expect what was actually about to happen.
