Chapter 3: Dinner

As I headed to our table, I felt a little tap on my shoulder. I turned to see the girl who was standing infront of me in line. "Hey, I just realized that I never got to propertly introduce myself." She smiled. "I'm Madison" She said as she shook my hand. "Well hi there madison, I'm Victoria but all my friends call me Vic!" I smiled back at her. "So did your friend show up?" I asked her in hopes that they didnt. She awkwardly laughed "Well that's actually why I came to speak to you. Right before you offered me a seat at your table, I was thinking about just going home but then I saw the way that you were with your friends and I thought to myself that having supper with people that I've never met before might actually be fun! So I was wondering... is the seat still available?" My face glowed up. "Of course it is! Right this way." As I was showing her to our table, I couldnt stop smiling.  After a couple of minutes, a waiter came to give us our menus. "I am so sorry, I am missing a menu. I will be right back with it, but in the mean time, can I start you all off with a drink?" they asked. I looked over at Julia, Elle and Madison. They were all looking down at the menus that the waiter had handed to us. "I think we are all fine for now! Thank you!" I told the waiter. A couple minutes after the waiter left, I looked over at Julia and Elle. "I think I'm going to go out for a bit of air." I told them as I showed them a vape under the table. "What do you mean go for some air?" Madison started to laugh. "We are eating outside." She started to look over and Julia and Elle. They both looked nervous. "Actually, do you mind if I get some air with you?" Madison asked me. "Sure" I said with an awkward smile. Madison and I got up. We pushed our chairs in and as we were walking away, I looked back at Julia and Elle. So many thoughts were going through my brain. "What if I get caught vaping? What if the cops see me? What is Madison doesn't like me vaping and she tells the authorities that I'm vaping? Is it really illegal for me to use the vape if I bought it in Canada and it's legal for me to vape in Canada?" These were just a few thoughts going through my mind. We got to the side of the Saddle Ranch. Madison stopped and said "I think we are fine here." All I did was stand there. I didn't know what to do. Out of nowhere, Madison pulled out a disposible vape out of her purse. I was in shock. "Is it fine with you if I vape? I figured that's why you wanted to 'get some air'." I let out a sigh of relief. "Omg for sure! I was so worried that if I pulled out my vape, that you wouldn't like that I vape or that you would no longer want to have diner with us." We both started to laugh. "I would never judge someone just because they like to vape." she said.  A couple minutes passed by and then I got a text from Julia.

Ju: The food is ready!

Me: We will be right there.

Ju: Sooooo.... how is it going with Madison😉

Me: It's going good i guess LOL. We will be back soon.
