Chapter 12

I walked towards the meeting point and greeted Alfred.. it's December 7th and it's time to go..

- Excited for the road trip?? - He asks putting some bags in the car

- Yeah.. I think it will be good to just forget about stuff and have fun

Alfred turned around and frowned making a "Nop" face

- What?

- Demi is going..

I nodded and shrugged - I know..

He sighed and pointed to something behind me

I turned around and saw Miley talking with Wilmer..

- Shit.. - I mumbled

He patted me in the back and took my bags - Don't worry.. They won't have time to be alone

I shook my head - Oh.. like they aren't now...

He turned around probably seeing now Demi hugging Wilmer.. I hated this sight.. specially since I was so jealous right now..

- Sorry dude..

I pulled my lips inside and in that exact moment, Demi let go of Wilmer and met my gaze

She smiled and gave me a thumbs up

I shrugged and turned around to help Alfred

We finally got in the cars and started the ride.. Demi was with Miley and Selena in one, Wilmer was with some other guys and I was with Alfred, Zac and my brother Joe which made my road trip even worse

Don't get me wrong.. I love Joe but he's a pain in the ass sometimes!

We were having a great time singing to songs and laughing.. just having fun in the car.. I was by the window so I could see Demi on the other side.. she was looking through her phone that was hooked to the car.. probably for music

I smiled picking up mine and texted her "Hey.. you're the DJ?"

I looked up seeing her singing with the girls and then, after a few minutes, looking down..

"Yeah.. the only one who has good taste in music here"

I chuckled and typed "Like that's possible haha"

I looked back up and saw Demi looking through the window slightly smiling at me.. she then looked down and answered

"It is!! Maybe you should hear some songs.."

I smiled "One day.."

I looked up seeing her read the text.. she then looked at me with a grin and nodded

We continued the trip until lunch where we pulled over to a restaurant

We all got out of the car and went inside.. I sat between Selena and Joe.. Demi was between Miley, who was next to Selena, and Zac..

The table was round and big so I was grateful since Alfred asked Wilmer to sit next to him, far, far away from Demi..

If I see Wilmer with Demi, I'm pretty sure I'll get jealous all over again and mad..

We had dinner and had lots of strange and funny conversations.. this day was going great so far

One thing that didn't get out of my mind was last night.. "I'm afraid of falling in love"..

Did she meant that she was afraid of falling for me? Why is she afraid then? Am I that bad?!

- Nick! - Alfred yelled catching my atention again - Were you even listening?
