~ Authors note ~

This prologue is extremely long
( I won't do chapters this long for future chapters )
and probably not even that good but that's ok.
It's about y/n's backstory and all of that stuff.
Pay a little bit of attention to the dates and time :)
have a good time reading :))

New York. October 1st 1989. 11:58 am

New York. A massive city with thousands of buildings and skyscrapers touching the clouds.

A young-looking woman around the age of 25 - 27, walking to the café on the 17th building of Maiden Lane. Running late for her daily 11:55 coffee. Stepping into the café with nothing to worry about at all. Walking in with not a small doubt in mind. The café had a cute ambience with vines, presumably fake, hanging from the ceiling with small potted plants dangling from the ceiling expecting a little kid to touch them and make them fall over. The wallpaper was a light lilac colour and was it was obvious that it was newly painted as it was bright, and not as dull as the women with the swimming suit, and there was no chipping.

Shall we give this woman a name? hmm, don't you think *a/n is a good name? Yes, well I think it is. Anyways let's continue this confusing story.

a/n walks to the cashier wearing a dark green apron and white top and black trousers. "Hey! How are you?"

"Hi. I'm fine thank you. What would you like today?"

"Uh can I please have a double shot espresso and maybe a- "

12:00

Abruptly, a tense feeling started to rise from her feet into her stomach. A screech was about to fall out of her mouth when blood started to drip from her tracksuit making a large blood pile on the light plank floors. A single employee, the cashier to be exact, ran around the coffee table and the cake and biscuit stand and ran to help a/n. Many cries for help and the ambulance sirens surrounding the old calm and still café.

16:00

It was finally finished. The hours of labour and pain had finally come to an end including the weak shrieks of shock and relief. A small baby in a doctors arm had been handed over to a/n and a/n was crying in a way where it wasn't so obvious what type of crying she was doing. Her mouth had a smile and her eyebrows were raised in delight but her eyes were filled with sorrow and questioning whether she should keep her baby. "Your baby is a girl. Congratulations!" A/n eyes widened and her eyes started to overflow with salty tears and she wept in joy as she found out her baby was a girl.

New York. October 3rd 1989. 12:30 am

An old man with a monocle had barged into a/n's home and had found his way to the new baby born on October 1st. "Hi! very sorry to barge in like this but how much would it be to have your baby?" he stated.
