The Truth - Leonardo

"Sensei." Leo murmered as he walked into the dojo. He had tear stains on his cheeks.

"Does something trouble you, my son?" Splinter asked, concerned. Leo nodded.

"As you know.. I was poisoned by the Foot and it changed me for a while.." He started. Splinter nodded.

"Go on." He waved his hand.

"And I-I cheated on (Y/N)." He sighed. "I didn't know what I was doing. It was the poison. A-and she hates me. I need to get her back, dad. I love her." Master Splinter nodded.

"Get the girl and bring her here." He demanded.

"But Master, she won't--"

"She will if it is I who must speak with her." Splinter said. Leo nodded slowly.

"Okay. I can't promise she'll come." He sighed.

"Do your best, my son." Splinter smiled warmly at him. Leo nodded and rushed to your house.

"God damn it." You groaned as you heard tapping at your window. You opened it. He was already speaking before you could think.

"Splinter wants to see you." He said. You rolled your eyes.

"Really, Leonardo?" You scoffed. "This is pathetic. Making up excuses for me to go back?" Leo shook his head.

"No! Splinter really does want to speak with you. Please? I told him you'd come." He sighed. You groaned.

"Fine. Whatever. For Splinter. 'Cause he didn't destroy me." You sneered as you skipped your shoes on and climbed out the window. You and him made your way to the lair. You entered the dojo when you arrived and smiled at Splinter.

"Hello Sensei! You wanted to speak with me?" You asked. He nodded, stroking his beard.

"Yes. Sit please." He said. You sat Indian style as he did as well.

"What is this about?" You asked politely.

"The truth." He sighed.

"The truth?" You repeated. He nodded.

"The truth about what happened." He said. "You would never believe my son. But I assure you it is true." You sighed.

"Can.. can Leo tell me?" You asked. Splinter nodded.

"C'mon.." Leo sighed, leading you too the living room. He sat you down and he sat as well. "I know you won't believe a word of this.. but it's worth a try."

"Go on.." you sighed.

"The Foot. They got ahold of me while I was out on patrol. I was alone because I needed a break from Raph. They injected a poison into my blood stream. After about an hour, I started to feel different. Like.. not myself." He explained. "(Y/N), I never meant to cheat on you. It was all the poison. I'm telling the truth. I would never lie to you." He started to tear up as he lowered his face. Warm tears rolled down your cheeks. You sniffled as you tackled him in a tight hug. He held you tight and close.

"I love you Leo and I miss you." You cried. He rubbed your back slightly.

"I love you so much." He mumbled into your hair. You pulled yourself up and kissed him. He returned the kiss with passion. He was happy. You were happy.
