The Truth - Donatello

"April, I'm miserable." Donnie sobbed. "She hates me, and I have to live with this guilt even though I never meant for this to happen."

"Tell her the truth Donnie." April said soothingly. "I'm sure she knows you'd never lie to her."

"I dunno.." he sighed.

"Do it. It's better to try and fail than to never know." She nodded. "Plus... I have a strong feeling she'll believe you." Donnie smiled.

"Thanks April." He hugged her. She returned the hug and kissed his head. He tracked your phone and found you on your roof. He groaned and rushed over. After he left, April called you to explain everything, to make things easier for Donnie.

"Y-you're not gonna jump, a-are you?" You heard a cute yet scared voice. You turned around.

"Why do you care? You ruined me." You pretended to still be mad and depressed, stepping more toward the edge. He widened his eyes.

"N-no, please!" He panicked, almost in tears. You rushed over and cupped his cheek.

"Don, I'm not gonna jump!" You yelled. "I was just joking!" He sighed in relief.

"Don't do that to me-- wait, why aren't you yelling at me and calling me names and stuff?" He looked at you, confused. You giggled and hugged him around his neck.

"April called, she told me everything. I didn't believe her at first. But then I was like wait yeah those foot guys are dicks." You said. He smiled slightly.

"What all did she tell you?" He asked, curious.

"Well, that you were beaten up and injected with a non deadly poison that turned you bad for like 12 hours, and pretty much heartless." You nodded your head. Donnie smiled fully.

"So that's what she meant when she said she had a strong feeling you'd believe me..." He pushed up his glasses and crossed his arms. You giggled.

"Yup! She told me you'd be coming to tell me so I came here knowing you'd track my location." You smiled and kissed him sweetly. He smiled against your soft lips and held you close as he kissed back. You both pulled away and you smiled.

"I love you my darling angel." He whispered.

"I love you too my Donnie-Baby." You whispered back as you pressed your lips to his again.
