Tuesday she ironed her uniform and had breakfast before her dad. She wanted to leave early so that she can catch up with Noah. Even though it was one day, she missed him. She thought about him when she woke to have some gruel. She thought about him when the rain stopped and the cloud turned a slight bluish gray. She thought about him when her brother came back from schooling making her realize Noah will be back home and to the confines of his room.

After grabbing her school bag and umbrella, she tied her shoes and started her way towards the bus stop. It is still cloudy, indicating the impending rain. The fire men are now removing the branches of their neighbor's Neem tree which fell on the electric lines in previous night's storm. Monsoon days are always filled with similar events but apart from that nothing is more colorful and more fresh than this season. The power will be out almost all the days because of the storms , still her grandma will light the already stored candles and then they will all huddle in the living room, talking about old times. Her mom will then make black tea with cardamom for all and through the storms and pitter patter of the rain drops they slink into the comforts of their beds.

As she approached the bus stop, she realized that she was nervous. Her palms began to fill with moisture and her heart began to beat faster. Noah was not at the bus stop. She released a relieved sigh. In the next five minutes more students began to arrive at the bus stop. Noah was no show. She was looking on his way when the bus arrived. Disappointedly Meera got on the bus and looked out of the window.

Hey guys,

It's been a long time since I last updated. I was working on my other story which was emotionally draining for me. I took some time off and focused on my college work. Wattpad is growing each day and I have never felt so thankful for finding a space for my own stories. Through the years a lot of writers and their stories helped me to get through life.

A big thanks to all of them. Ohh!!! I forgot ! HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY GUYSS😘😘❤️❤️Stay Safe.
Love,
Ash❤️
