Two days passed without Noah. Since Meera doesn't have any common friends with Noah, she doesn't know what happened to him. On Thursday Meera dressed without much enthusiasm and went to school. She was lost in her thoughts that when someone said 'hi' near her ear, she was startled. The culprit was none other than Noah:who laughed at Meera's wide eyes and red face. She was slightly annoyed at him making fun of her but his hearteous laugh made her smile nonetheless. He told her he was bedridden for the past few days because of fever and was now well and back to health.
The road was littered with new leaves,that seemed to fill the puddles after heavy rains. The multi- colored leaves descend to the earth along with the raindrops and they fill the atmosphere with cold. The reunited teenagers talked about everything that they missed in the past few days. Laughter flowed from hearts without blocks and eyes seemed to shine so bright that they passed the matters of the heart.
