Chapter 8

3rd pov

"Crap, I'm overslept." Tanaka exclaimed to himself

"I'm tardy, I'm tardy. I gotta hurry... Then, wham, I run into (M/n)-san and Kiyoko-san who's eating bread." The baldy sang to himself. You turned around when you hear someone said your name only to see Tanaka opening the door with a pink blush on his face and eyes closed, "I wish." His eyes opened to see you were looking down at him (literally, I mean , the boyyo is tall...) and the first thing he sees in the morning.

"Looking radiating as always, (M/n)-san!" You gave him a gentle bonk on the head and walk away from the door. Obviously, Tanaka is hugging himself again, 'Jeez Tanaka, don't ever change.'

You watched as Kageyama gives Hinata a receive, going too far past him. The ginger haired male runs towards the ball, hitting it into the air and right towards Kageyama.

You saw the younger setter getting ready to give Hinata a toss, "SHOU-KUN IT'S YOURS! SPIKE IT!" You yelled. As you saw Hinata's face brightened up and starts dashing towards the ball to hit it.

   The balls hits the floor on the other side of the net as Hinata spiked the ball. Hinata smiles and you had to cover your eyes from the sparkles around him. Hinata falls to the ground and starts coughing. You were getting worried, you went over to him.

You just patted his back as you saw the blueberry walks towards the two of you. "Hey..." Hinata looked up to see Kageyama to see the tall first-year standing over him. "We're gonna win tomorrow." 'Now that's the Kageyama Tobio, I wanted to see.'

"O-Of course we will!" Hinata's grin falls off his face when his cheeks bulge out.

"GROSS!" You ran away from puking the first-year to go hide behind Tanaka.

"TANAKA, GET WATER, WATER! AND A WASHRAG!" (Suga)

"ADD SOME AIR FRAGRANCE!" (You)

"O-OSSU!" (Tanaka)

You and Tanaka just stared at the two first-years that seemed like they're dead. "What's the point of getting worn out before the  match? You guys better rest up." Tanaka said while walking inside the gym.

    "Soooo, who won?" The two lifted up their heads and answered at the same time, "I DID!" The two glared at each other and started to argue who came there first. 'I should not had ask that...' 

    You just sighed and looked at the two, "Hey, if you two win, how about I treat you two some ramen?" The blueberry and the tangerine looked at you with stars in their eyes and nodded determinedly.

You gave them soft smile and went inside the gym. When everyone did their warm up, Kiyoko walked inside the gym, "Good morning." Tanaka didn't seem to hesitate to stop everything that he was doing. As always, got ignored and started to hug himself.

    Kiyoko walks towards you and gave a soft smile, "Good morning, (M/n)-kun." "Good morning, Kiyo-chan." You smiled and she gave a small smile while ruffling your hair. Everyone in the gym just watch the most attractive people in the gym interacting with each other. 'A God and a Goddess are interacting with each other...'

   Daichi clapped both his hands to grab everyone's attention, "Alright, let's get started." You took your place next to Yamaguchi while draping your arm on his shoulder. You heard a loud whisper from a blonde first-year none other than the one and only, Tsukishima Kei.

"Um...that little one and Tanaka-san, which one shall I crush-I mean block first?" He 'whispered' to the captain who was awkwardly trying to let him to keep it down.  You could see Tanaka's ear grew by that.  "Oh, yes, yes. I'd like to see the king lose, too." You could felt that there was tension in the air.
