Amia
I found her I can't believe that I found her so quickly I thought it'd take much longer, but here she was passed out on the floor.
"I think she took the news well," Leo snickered while poking her cheek with his paw.
"Leo, why can't you behave yourself for once?" I sighed as I thought about how to handle this situation. First thing first I had to get her to her room; I turned towards Leo to ask him for a favor.
"Leo could you turn human real quick so I could get her upstairs; I just need you to run upstairs find her room open her door for me and get the bed ready."
Leo gave an exasperated groan, "Fine I guess I could do that, but transforming is a lot of work." As he grumbled under his breath Leo's body began to twitch and contort until he stood as a 5 foot 3, 10 year old looking boy with tousled black hair and green eyes. He wore a black tee-shirt and a pair of jeans with a pair of plain sneakers. He spread his arms while exclaiming 'ta-da'. He was always a show-off. I gave a mock clap and then shooed him upstairs, while he was doing what I had requested I went to work on performing the needed tasks. I tied a charm to her wrist that would make her float temporally; I grabbed her wrist as I guided her upstairs, pleased to see that Leo had already done what I instructed. After removing the charm and tucking her into bed Leo and I tiptoed downstairs, and put away the groceries that were still good.
"Well now that she's comfortable in bed I just have one question: where the hell are we sleeping?!" Leo huffed while throwing his hands up.
I hadn't thought about that at all, to be honest I had been so relieved to have found the girl so quickly that I hadn't even bothered to think about such mundane things like sleep. Normally CIPs would just live with their clients posing as relatives or friends of the person in question until their tasks were complete. But seeing as I had just scared my human into unconsciousness I'll just have to figure out my living arrangements on my own.
"Lady Flora already showed me how to modify human homes to fit our needs without having to change the house's look. But I'd prefer to just find an unused room and modify that since it's quicker and easier."
Leo nodded his head as we began to find a suitable room. We searched for a while until we stumbled upon the basement. The basement had a decent sized bathroom but was overall empty, damp and looked like a tornado had passed through it, it was perfect.
"Gross it's so old and dirty down here; hurry, hurry I want to see you make it pretty." Leo complained as he pushed me further into the dusty storage space.
I pulled out the PDA and took a picture of the whole room, and clicked modify at the bottom of the picture. A hologram of the room emerged from the device; my fingers flew across as I began to make changes to the area. For now I decided to keep it simple and just clean up the room and add the necessary furniture, "I could always just redecorate later," I told Leo as he grumbled about the room still looking ugly. Once I was finished the basement looked completely different, all the mess had been cleaned up, the wall weren't chipped any more and now had a fresh coat of paint, a king size bed was shoved into the corner with a dark curtain that closed around it protecting it from people's view, a pure white, stainless carpet was laid out on the floor, and the bathroom now had an ascot bubble jet clawfoot tub, rain shower, and porcelain toilet. I smiled pleased with myself as Leo ran pass me to jump onto the bed.
"Man I love these beds." Leo "purred" contently to himself as he stretched out across the bed.
"Since everyone is asleep I think it's about time that we got to sleep too." I said as I yawned; I materialized my suitcase and began to change into my night clothes, a extra baggy tee-shirt that stopped a little past my knees and a pair of boyshorts, as I made my way over towards the bed I noticed that Leo already turned back into his cat form and was curled up at the other side of the bed. I was still thinking about how to proceed with my mission when sleep finally embraced me.
