Chapter Eleven

Frankie knocked and waited patiently for Miley to open the door.
"Jellybean"he whispered immediately and she let him in.
"I'm sorry, Kate said she's going to be late"he said as soon as she closed the door.
"It's fine"she replied and Frankie nodded.
"So what did you want to tell me- us?"he asked.
"Nothing. I just wanted to take a break from these and spend some time with my friend"she sighed.
"I'm sure she'd come later"Frankie said, caressing her shoulders. Miley nodded and pulled the book closer to her.
"I'm almost done with it"she said and Frankie nodded.
"This part talks about protecting the book"she said, pointing to a line.

Frankie leaned close.
"Sealing with a life, why would this be here?"he asked, running a hand through his hair.
"If the protector becomes stained, in order to protect the book, he has to seal it with his life. What the hell"Frankie muttered.
"I just went cold as soon as I saw that"she said, closing the book.
"I need to take a break"she continued.
"Where do you want to go?"he asked.
"Anywhere Frankie, anywhere"she groaned.
"Alright, I know a place, go get dressed"he flashed a smile at her.
"I'm okay this way"she said, standing up.
"You sure look good."
"Thanks"she smiled.
"What if Kate comes here?"Frankie asked.
"She has the spare key, she can sleep here"Miley shrugged.
"Yeah, Besties"Frankie said and laughed.

Kate bumped into someone whilst walking briskly. "Frankie, I was about going to Miley's house. You're supposed to be there"she said.
"Yeah"he replied shortly. She stared at him and he smiled.
"Jellybean"he said and she heaved a sigh of relief.
"So where are you going?"she asked.
"Your house. Miley wants you to get the book, she's at Bianca's place"he said.
"Bianca?"
"Yeah."
"Alright, I'll get it now"she said. "Are you coming with me?"she continued and he shook his head.
"Nah, I'll just- head back to Bianca's house"he said.
"Oh, alright, I'll meet you there"she said before running off.

Kate knocked for the third time before Bianca opened the door.
"Oh, you brought the book"she said.
"Yeah, where's Miley and Frankie?"Kate asked as soon as she dropped the book.
"They left minutes ago"Bianca replied.
"Huh?"
"They were tired of waiting, they said something about going to the park. But they'll be back, I don't know when though"she explained.
"Umm, okay. Let me find them"Kate replied and left immediately.

She was close to the park when she saw them coming out of the mall.
"Told you she'd come"Frankie smiled.
"Kate, what's good?"he asked.
"You asked me to get the book and then you left for the park. Not fair"Kate frowned.
"What are you talking about?"Miley asked.
"I just saw Frankie some minutes ago, he said you're at Bianca's house"Kate answered.
"No. I've been with Miley and we went to the mall"Frankie said, scratching his hair.
"What? You asked me to take the book to Bianca's house"Kate looked confused now.
"What?!" "No, I didn't"Miley and Frankie said at the same time. "I don't even know where she lives"he continued.
"You- you said the secret word"Kate said almost in a whisper.
"The book is at Bianca's?!"Miley exclaimed.
"Did you tell Bianca about our discussion?"she asked and Kate nodded.
"Everything, including the secret word?"she asked and Kate nodded again.
"Fuck! I told you there's something about that girl. Where's her house?"Miley asked, pulling a dumbfounded Kate.

"Bianca? Bianca where are you?!"Miley yelled, pushing the door open.
"Bianca!"Frankie said, staring at the sitting room. A door opened and a figure emerged.
"Welcome"she smiled.
"Tall, green eyes-"Miley stared at the figure's toes.
"Aurora! Run!"she yelled, making for the door.
"Not so soon"she smiled, pulling Miley.
"I just need you"she said and waved her hand. Frankie and Kate disappeared.
"I- I knew it! Let me go!"she cried, trying to release herself.
"I went through all this stress just to let you go? I'm not stupid"she laughed, cackled maybe.
She pulled her to a room and pointed to a man bound with chains, he looked thin and malnourished.
"Daddy!"she gasped.
"What did you do to him?!"she cried.
"I need your help Miley"Aurora said.
"With the book. I can't touch it, it's sealed"she continued.
"I'm not helping you with anything"Miley said stubbornly.
"You help me and I release your father"Aurora shrugged.
"I just want you to perform some rituals so I can take possession of the cave and rule the supernatural world. Easy peasy."
"Let me go!"
"Relax Miley, I'm more powerful than you are. I spent thousand of years understanding the art of magic and sorcery"Aurora smirked.
"Let me go!"Miley screamed, pushing her away. She picked up a ceramic jar and threw it at Aurora.

Aurora slumped and groaned in pains.
Miley immediately made for the cell and opened it, untying Harry's chains.
"Let's go Dad"she said. As he raised his head to stare at her, she realized his eyes were yellow.

"Run Miley"he muttered.
"Daddy- let's go"she cried, pulling him.
"Slave of The Keeper Of Evil, kill the enemy of your master"Aurora commanded.
Miley's eyes widened as Harry's eyes turned green. His hands were vibrating and he didn't flinch as he grabbed her neck.
"Daddy"she gasped, trying to free herself. She screamed and closed her eyes tightly. In three seconds, she was gone.
"Find her! She's still here, I know she is"Aurora said, standing up. In her invisible state, Miley crept behind Harry, chain in hand and wrapped it around his neck and pulled it in a twinkle of an eye. He struggled to take it off. Then she grabbed the sharpest object in the room and stabbed him several times. A green substance seeped from his body and he fell to the ground.
She made for the sitting room and snapped her finger, silently praying it worked. "You can't run away forever Miley"Aurora smiled.

"It's not opening"Frankie said, pushing the door. "I just realized there are no windows in this house"Kate muttered.
"I can't believe I had a thing with an old woman"she shuddered.
"Run!"a voice yelled. They could see Miley running at a far distance and they ran after her.
