Diego P.O.V
I was at home sleeping Shira was sleeping next to me.
When I woke up and I had to go to work. I had to deal with Kayla. I was being cold with her. Then Kayla would try to get my attention.
Then my boss came to my office. Then saw Kayla.
I asked, "Can I help you?"
But the boss didn't respond instead was looking at Kayla which I didn't care. I kept my own thing. After a minute my boss came back to reality.
My boss spoke, "You know how to pick your secretary."
I spoke, "I only chose who can do their job. So what bring you here?"
My boss responded, "Well you work would double but you'll have a higher salary."
"Okay?"
My boss spoke as a another saber came, "Well since you be working double I'm going to add another assistant."
I looked at the saber and it was a guy. Good looking, knowing what to do. Not to mention he is rich.
I spoke as I was shaking his hand, "I hope we work together as team. What is your name?"
"My name is Zackary. Yours?"
I responded, "My name is Diego."
My secretary seems to like my new assistant. Which I was glad to get the weight off my back.
As days passed by Zackary and I worked together perfectly fine. As Kayla quit going after me instead after Zackary.
Zackary seems to be friendly. Then Zackary started look at the photos on the frames.
Zackary asked, "Is that your wife and kids?"
I responded, "Yeah. I knew her since our childhood."
"Oh."
Shira knew about Zackary because I told Shira what happened. Shira seems to be glad that Kayla was off my back.
One day as I working alone in my office. I heard someone knocking my door.
I spoke, "Come in."
I looked up and it was Shira. I got up and gave her a kiss.
I asked, "How the kids?"
Shira responded, "I left them at my parent's house. So they can spend time together. How my softie doing?"
I responded, "A lot of work at least I have people to help me."
As Shira and I were talking. Zackary came in.
Zackary spoke, "Diego I need... woah."
Then I heard what Zackary said. I started growling. Zackary back down.
I spoke, "Can I help you?"
Zackary was there standing seems to be distracted. Then Shira came behind me which Zackary came back to reality. Zackary seems to blush.
Zackary spoke, "I need some work to finish. Ah I see that your wife."
I spoke, Yeah she is. The work is on top of the desk."
Zackary took the work and left. I looked at Shira. Shira doesn't seem not to like Zackary.
I asked, "Something wrong?"
"Well Zackary he seems to be distracted by me."
"Don't worry Zackary knows his limits."
Then Kayla came and saw us. Shira was about to growl. Kayla just went to grab something on the files then left.
I spoke, "At least Kayla isn't bothering us."
Shira spoke, "Well I think Zackary is something up to."
A few days has passed ever since Zackary saw my wife. Zackary seems to be in the clouds. He would look at of pictures of Shira more often.
One day I caught him in my office holding a photo of Shira in his arms.
I asked, "What are you doing?"
Then Zackary quickly placed back the photo. I started to give him a strange look.
Zackary responded, "Oh nothing. I wonder your wife would be up close."
I began to feel anger to boil inside.
I spoke, "One minute... to leave... before I lose my temper!"
Then Zackary walked away like nothing happened. I began to wonder what he is up to now. He better not get my kitty.
After I went back home after work. I saw Shira was playing with our kids.
Shira spoke, "Hey Diego."
"Hey Shira."
"Something wrong?"
"I'm need to talk to you."
Shira got up and went to me.
I spoke, "I think Zackary has a crush on you."
Shira asks, "How if I'm married to my softie?"
"Yeah, but I caught him holding a picture of you. I don't like it."
"Softie try not to lose your temper. Okay?"
Shira place her paw on my face. Then I pulled Shira for a kiss.
Shira spoke, "Hungry?"
I responded, "Yeah."
Shira smiles and went to the kitchen to make me some food.
