Scott came home late again. Him and his pack we're working on a plan. Every night he would come home, eat dinner, shower and go to bed. Then in the morning he would leave before i was even awake. It was like i had  been living with a ghost for the past few weeks. "hey honey" he said before closing the door. I had just put his food in the fridge. "hey baby" I hugged him tightly. "when is this gonna be over?" i whispered while i was still standing on my tippy toes to reach his shoulders. "what do you mean?" he answered. "when can we go on dates again or cook together again, when can we do anything together again? Scott, you need to slow down, youre overworking yourself" i didnt even notice myself tearing up until Scott wiped away a tear. "i know baby, i know" he brushed my hair with his fingers to calm me, and himself, down.
Later that night when i was brushing my teeth, Scott had disappeared outside. I looked out of my window to see he was on the phone, having a loaded conversation.
I couldn't hear what it was about so i decided to just go to bed. Right before i felt myself falling asleep, the bed dipped in slightly. His strong and warm arms wrapped around me and i heard him sigh satisfied.
The next morning when i woke up, i was still wrapped in his arms. Something that was very rare these days. "Scott, you're late" i mumbled. "No i'm not" he answered. I turned around to face him. "We are going to Paris" he said with a bright smile on his face. He explained how he managed to pull this off but all i cared about was the fact that i was going to go home with the love of my life.
Me and Scott met in high school, we stayed friends all throughout his career. Only a few months back we finally got together after Stiles convinced us both to confession our feelings.
