that night y/n went to sleep in an alright mood. before she passed out many thoughts ran through her mind, including the red sweater from jackson. she slept with it beside her in bed and held it close. though she had only met the boy for a brief moment, she felt safe around him and protected. almost how she felt around finn.

speaking of finn, he went to bed extremely happy with himself. before he went to bed he decided to get some advice from his friends and this is how that went:

i paced around my trailer, anxiety flaming through me. "no no that's not good enough" i stood in front of my mirror and smiled "y/n, be my girlfriend?" i stood and groaned. "no that's not gonna work either. why is this all so hard." i sat down on the couch and contemplated my options. "i'll just text her and ask if she wants to come with me next week and i'll ask her on the show! what a great idea!" i smiled and texted her 'heyyy y/n, wanna go to an interview with me next week?' and i smiled. soon after she replied with 'hey dingus you woke me up -_- but yes i'll go. don't ever wake me up again or you will die. goodnight frog face' i rolled my eyes and set my phone down.
