i sat on the couch with finn and nick watching them play mario cart. it was fun, this was until i heard the door open. i looked over and saw who i assume is finns mother and father walk in.

"finn you're home!" the woman yelled as she walked over to us, bringing finn into a comfortable hug. i smiled at them. "hi mom" he said into the hug. "oh honey is this your girlfriend?" she asked, letting go. his dad walked in and stood beside her. "oh yeah! this is y/n." he smiled and i stood up, holding my hand out. "hi dear, i'm mary and this is eric." she shook my hand and pulled me into a hug.

i took advantage of it and hugged back. i haven't had a motherly figure in so long, it felt nice. "it's nice to meet you." eric said as i pulled away. "you too, thank you for letting me stay here." she nodded "of course darling, no worries" i smiled and sat back down. eric and mary left and i looked at finn.

"they like you" nick said, returning to the game. "do they though?" i asked. they both nodded and i smiled. i leaned on finn and closed my eyes, slowly falling into a comfortable sleep.

finn pov

i ended up dying and rolled my eyes. "dude your girlfriend is sleeping" nick pointed at the girl on my arm. i wrapped my arm around her and nodded. "she's probably tired. i'm gonna take her up to my room, wanna come?" he nodded and i picked her up, carrying her to my bedroom. i placed her on the bed and pulled a blanket over her. poppy climbed on the bed and snuggled next to her.

nick and i sat at the desk and i looked back at y/n. "isn't she perfect?" i asked. "she's cute. don't fuck it up again." i pushed him a little "i wasn't the one who fucked it up. i was the one to pick up the pieces." "she seems cool is all i'm saying. just treat her well. from what i've heard in the media she doesn't deserve a shitbag." i nodded. "i'm gonna try to be good for her."

i sat back in the chair and loaded up twitch. i started a stream and people immediately flooded in. within 4 minutes i had 175k people on. "hey guys we can't be super loud because y/n is asleep but what's up chat" i whisper yelled to the screen. chat flooded with questions and stupid shit. nick read a lot aloud but i tuned him out. he then nudged me.

"chat asked you something" i hummed "are you going to propose to her?" he asked. my eyes widened and my jaw dropped a bit. "we just started dating recently- i don't think that'll happen anytime soon." i said nervously. "apparently you've been in love with her for months though so i wouldn't be too sure." nick laughed and i bit my lip.

after a few hours of talking to chat and nick, we ended the stream. i looked at the time and realized it was 1am. i sighed and walked over to the bed. i looked down at y/n and she was half asleep on her phone. "are you seriously up?" i asked. nick laughed behind us, i shot him a middle finger. she nodded "yeah.. can we go to denny's?"

"oh hell yes i'll drive!" nick stood up and i groaned "i guess were going to denny's." she smiled and shot up, immediately hopping off the bed and slipping shoes on. i smirked and did the same. soon we were downstairs and nick was grabbing his keys. i smiled and we got in the car. she was in the back and i was in the passengers side.

y/n pov

i played a game on my phone while we waited to get to the restaurant. in the back music played and i hummed along to everything i knew. soon we found ourselves at the restaurant. i rubbed my eyes as we walked in. "oh my god are you finn wolfhard and nick wolfhard?" a girl asked in front of us. i gripped finns hand and he held tightly back. "yeah we are." nick said calmly. "oh my god finn you are so hot! can i sit with you guys?"

"no i don't think you can." i said stepping forward. "who are you?" i looked up at finn who was about to laugh "his fucking girlfriend. now please move." she groaned and walked out with her friends. i wrapped an arm around finns torso and laughed. we were seated and then ordered.

"i will have three waffles with strawberries and whipped cream. also a strawberry milkshake." i smiled and then the boys ordered. i leaned on finn while we waited and scrolled through twitter. i liked fan art and other cute things i saw and enjoyed. everything was simple and nice again.
