CALLIE'S POV:

Liam stared up at me, his eyes no longer glowing a golden yellow but the bright blue they normally are. I sighed in relief when the ringing around us went away, I watched as Liam moved his hands away from his ears as he continued to stare at me. I climbed off of him and sat on the grass beside him, he slowly moved so that he was sitting up and facing me. I watched his hands as he moved them around, they were shaking so I reached out and held onto one of them and brought it to rest on my lap. His breathing became even more steady as we sat there. I studied him, unsure of what he would say or how he would react, "What's even happening to me?" his voice shook as he spoke.

I went to speak but I was cut off by our Alpha's voice, "The same thing that happened to me." I turned around to look at Scott as he made his way towards us. I looked back towards Liam to see him just watching Scott as he knelt down in front of both of us. I watched Scott's eyes traveled down to our hands, but I didn't let go of him.

I only looked away from Scott when I heard a small whimper come from Liam, "They can't know about this." He muttered, "My mom, my step-dad, I can't do this to them again."

I furrowed my eyebrows at Scott, "What do you mean again?" I asked.

He looked away from our hands and up to my face, then he glanced at Scott, "I got kicked out of school and I deserved it. The way they looked at me when they saw what I did to that car..." his voice broke as he finished his sentence, his hand giving mine a tight squeeze.

"Liam, it's okay." Scott shook his head.

"They can't see me like this." Liam shook his head and I could see that tears were on the verge of falling onto his cheeks.

"Like a monster?" Scott questioned him, "You're not a monster. You're a werewolf." Scott said, "Like me." Liam looked away from Scott and back towards me, "Like Callie." Scott added as Liam stayed quiet and took his eyes away from mine.

I walked into Derek's loft with a small smile on my face, just glad that everything went semi-okay tonight. I slid the sliding door closed as quietly as I could even though I knew Derek would hear me no matter what I did. When I went to walk towards my room, I stopped in my tracks when I met two glowing eyes, "Nice of you to come home," he walked over to me.

"We were all at Lydia's lake house," I said as I set my bag down on the coffee table, "It was a full moon."

Derek looked towards the window, "Scott said you're having trouble controlling yourself," I rolled my eyes even though Derek wasn't looking at me. When he turned back to me he changed the subject, "How was the new Beta?"

"Fine," I shrugged, "Just how you would expect any new Beta to behave during their first full moon." Derek didn't say anything, he just stared at me, "He was unconscious for most of the night while he was chained up. When he did wake up, he broke through the chains and ran off."

"Ran off?"

I sighed, "Yeah, but I found him and calmed him down."

"How?"

I put my hand on my hips and gave my brother an annoyed look, "I used my Hale charm." I said sarcastically, "I don't know, Derek. He was having a panic attack when I found him, so I..." I stopped my sentence and looked away from him.

"You what?" Derek asked as he stepped closer to me, "Your heart is beating awfully fast, Callie." He teased.

"Nothing, I just... I may have kissed him." I said quietly and then walked towards my room without looking at Derek.
