-ONE WEEK LATER-

STILES' POV:

I looked down at Lydia as she looked around at the small shops that surrounded us. I felt good about this whole plan to save Derek, well sort of. I didn't like the fact that I was away from Malia and Callie, but at least I knew that they would be with Scott. Callie could handle her own, so I'm not too worried about her, but still, "This doesn't seem so bad." I clapped my hands together as I continued to look around us.

"It's not the town, it's the plan." Lydia responded back.

"What's wrong with the plan?" I asked.

"Stiles." she said as she let her eyes gaze around us still, "This could be the stupidest plan we've ever come up with. You're aware of that, right?"

"I'm aware it's not our best." I admitted.

"We are going to die." Lydia said as we started to walk forward.

"Are you saying that as a Banshee or you're just being pessimistic?"

She looked up towards me, "I'm saying it as a person who doesn't want to die."

I scratched the back of my head, "Okay. Would you just mind restricting any talk of death to actual Banshee predictions?"

"This plan is stupid and we're going to die." she repeated with a small, taunting grin on her face.

"Oh, thank you." I said sarcastically while she hummed back her answer to me.

"So what's with you and Callie?" she asked not even taking a chance to look at me.

I sighed, "What do you mean? We broke up, there's nothing." I watched as Lydia rolled her eyes at me, "What do you want me to say?"

"That you were stupid for hooking up with Malia, then putting all of your attention on Malia, and then when you realize that Callie wants to talk about things, you tell her you love her."

"It's not that simple, Lydia." my hand was back to my neck, a nervous habit I had, "She broke up with me."

"I would've too." this time I rolled my eyes at her, "Really? If you were in Callie's situation, you wouldn't do what she did?"

I shook my head, "I would've talked it out."

"You never gave her the chance to, you were too focused on your new girl, Malia." she said as we continued to walk around and kill time.

"I was helping Malia."

Lydia, again, rolled her eyes at me, "Stiles, you're trying to tell me that you and Malia haven't hooked up since Callie broke up with you?"

"Well... I mean," I started but I knew Lydia would know I was lying, "Callie broke up with me and Malia likes me. Sue me." I threw my hands up.

"All I'm saying is-"

"Can we not talk about this, please." I begged and finally Lydia didn't say anything back to me.

We walked around for a couple of hours until it was dusk, then we made our way to the front door of a tall building that had two men guarding it, "Esta aqui para de la fiesta." Lydia said to the two men. One of the men looked over at me and shook his head. I sighed and reached into my pockets to pull out a playing card. I held it up to both of them, then they glanced up to the security camera that was hiding in the corner, I held up the card so the camera would see it full view, then the door clicked open. Lydia and I walked past the two men and into the building into a long hallway, we both turned around when we heard the door close behind us. I let out a sigh then led us through the hallway as the lamps on the walls shook and I could only hope that whatever was causing them to shake wasn't anything awful. I reached out to open a large wooden door that stood between us and whatever took Derek. I pushed it opened and it revealed a sea of people dancing and drinking, I ushered Lydia to the bar area where it was a little less crowded. Once we were leaning on the counter the bar tender set down two shots of tequila, I looked down at them then began to dig for my wallet.
