A TaeJin Love Story

Taehyung sat in the little café just outside of Daegu, near Geochang county, sipping his tea and reading a book, he was there to meet an old friend that he hasn't seen since High School. The café was very crowded, people rushing in and out grabbing their drinks and desserts.

Taehyung heard a customer raising his voice at the young girl behind the counter, when he got up to see what was going on he saw a man run out from the back room, his apron was covered in different colors of frosting and he had flour on his cheeks, nose and in his hair, but Taehyung didn't miss that the man was absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. "Sir, I am so sorry, here is your cake, it is on the house, we have been so busy with Valentines day coming that we got a little behind in orders, so please I hope you except our apologize and enjoy your cake", the man says.

"Thank you", the man says, "I'm sorry I went off like that, its my daughters birthday and she just loves your desserts so much I know she would have been disappointed", he explained. "Oh please do bring her in and she can have a free dessert of her choice for her birthday", the beauty says smiling. "Thank you so much, you are very nice, she will love that, thank you again", he says and walks out. The gorgeous man looked at Taehyung, "Is everything okay sir, can we get you anything", he asked.

Taehyung stuttered a brief moment, "N-No, I'm good thank you, I am waiting for my friend before ordering." The beautiful man nodded and smiled widely at Taehyung, taking his breath away, Taehyung then smiled back at the man and he noticed a change in his face. Taehyung then watched him run back to the kitchen, not knowing what just happened. Tae took his seat to wait for Jimin, when he heard the bell above the door he looked up there he was.

"Jimin, over here", Tae waved. He stood up and Jimin ran into his arms, "Taehyungie, I have missed you so much, how have you been", Jimin says sitting across from Tae. "I have been good, working a lot, but I've been doing good", Tae says. "how have you been, how is Hae-Ri doing, you guys still together." "Yea, we dont see each other as much as we like because she is still in Seoul and I am more in Daegu most of the time, how about you, you have anyone special in your life yet", Jimin asks. Taehyung shakes his head and sadness darkens his face.

"Tae, please dont tell me you are still pining for that boy you met years ago, have you really not moved on, because it seems he has, has he tried to contact you at all", Jimin asks. Again, Taehyung shakes his head. "Aw Tae, why, please just tell me why you have put your life on hold for an asshole who just up and left you without a good bye", Jimin scolds. "I dont know Jimin, I just cant break free, I have tried, God knows I have tried, I have dated and had sex with random people and I just cant", I started to ball like a baby.

A few moments later, after Taehyung finally calmed down the waitress came over and asked, "excuse me are you by chance Taehyung." "Yes, I am, can I help you", Taehyung asked confused she handed him a beautifully decorated chocolate cupcake, "this was sitting on the counter with a note to give to the beautiful man in the Maroon sweater, named Taehyung and you are the only beautiful man in a maroon sweater", she says before walking away. The cupcake says, Please dont be sad. Tae looked around and didn't see anyone out of place or even looking at him, "who's that from", Jimin asked. "I have no clue, whoever its from saw me crying, like an idiot". Taehyung sadly pushed the cupcake aside, and looking at the menu. The waitress came back and took our orders, "Taehyung tell me exactly what happened those three months, 5 years ago", Jimin asks.

"I was 18, it was the summer between Senior year and first year of College, I was home on my grandparents farm. Grandpa and I were out in the garden picking the ripe tomatoes for my grandmother when we heard someone behind us...
