The kids were watching Ray and Sonju play chess, while Y/N sat by the fire, as Mujika sat down next to them. "Is that your family?" She asked, pointing at the picture Y/N was holding. "It is.. this is Phil." Y/N said, pointing to the boy with brown hair in the photo. "Isnt he adorable? This ones Sherry, she's a sweetheart."

"Whos this?" Mujika asked, pointing to the small girl. "That's Carol, she makes these grumpy faces sometimes, it's cute."

"And them?"

"Naila and Damdin, behind them are Eugene and.."

"Checkmate." Ray said, as Sonju crossed his arms. "Ray, you can become a great warrior."

"But.. normans even stronger." Jemima said. As everyone's gazes saddened. "Norman?" Sonju asked.

"And this is Norman," Y/N said, pointing at the picture of Norman and Emma. "I made a promise to him. I wouldn't give up. I wouldn't let anyone die. That id escape with everyone."

"I see.." mujika said, glancing over at the photo once more.

"But, it's odd. You're really not like a demon at all, Mujika." Y/N said, realizing their question had taken Mujika aback slightly. "S-Sorry, that was insensitive, wasnt it—"

"It's fine." Mujika reassured, "it's true. Our appearances have warped over the years. Before meeting with you, I've never spoken or even seen humans before. You're not enemies, or food. You're different from other living things. I'm glad I met you all, and had the chance to talk. I'm glad we became friends."

"Me too," Y/N said, smiling. "I'm glad we met you, spoke with you, and became friends." They concluded, as Mujika cupped their hand in her own. "Thank you for this past week."

"Last day that we'll be with you, Sonju." Y/N sighed out, stepping down from the demon's horse.

It was fairly late, and dark.

But Y/N decided to leave while the kids were asleep, recently Emma had scolded them for running off to much to hunt, even when they really didn't need it.

"Mhm." Sonju nodded, throwing his spear over his shoulders. "Can you see alright? It got dark quickly."

Y/N glanced around with a sigh, slinging their bow across their body. "I can't see much, if I'm gonna be honest." They said, "Maybe we should just head back."

Sonju nodded once more, glancing at the sack of birds that had been hung over his horse. "That's fine, yeah, we'll head back." He turned his attention to Y/N. "You need the rest." He added.
