"I wonder how happy she'll be to see me." Sasuke slowed his pace slightly as he hurried through the streets. "I bet her skin will be glowing radiantly after the bath, and her hair will be so soft." He glanced down at his hand. "Maybe she'll let me stroke it."Sasuke turned down another street and the bathhouse came into view. "There it is!" He started to walk toward it again, and Kakashi crossed his path and waved slightly.
"Oh, hello Sasuke. I wasn't expecting to run into you today." Kakashi smiled slightly, then looked his student over. "You're dressed pretty formally." He leaned closer and lowered his voice. "Do you have a date or something?"
"Yes."
Kakashi blinked and rubbed his head. "I see. That's unexpected of you."
"Sensei." Sasuke looked up at him. "I think you might be able to help me out. "
"Oh?" Kakashi stuck his hands in his pockets. "With what?"
"I need to borrow that book of yours."
"Oh is that it-?" Kakashi stopped and then furrowed his brows slightly. "...What did you say?"
Sasuke held out his hand. "I need to know more about romance so that I can prepare for the future."
"P-Prepare?" Kakashi began to sweat and his face warmed. "Sasuke, just what kind of date do you have? You're too young to even be considering-"
"Are you going to help me or not?"
"E-Eh..." Kakashi cleared his throat, then smiled, closing his eye as he tilted his head to the side. "Absolutely."
"Great. It shouldn't take me long to read it, so-"
"You've clearly hit your head and are suffering from strange delusions, so I'll certainly help you out by taking you to the hospital right away."
"What? No!" Sasuke shrugged Kakashi's hand off his shoulder. "There's nothing wrong with me, except that I don't know enough about romance to make my lady happy."
"Y-Your... lady?" Kakashi's eye twitched slightly. "There's definitely something very wrong with him, but he isn't under any Genjutsu that I can tell." He cleared his throat again. "Alright, Sasuke, if you'll just come with me, you'll be back to your old self in no time-"
"I refuse!" Sasuke scowled and back away from him. "I refuse to go back to a time when I didn't acknowledge my love for her!" He leaped away and Kakashi let out a sigh.
"Well, this is a problem."
--
"I've lost him." Sasuke exhaled and leaped down from the rooftop he had been on, then dropped down and walked back to the bathhouse, standing in front of it, and frowned slightly. "What am I doing here? There's no way that I'll be allowed inside to see her."
He grunted in frustration, running his hands through his hair.
"Maybe I should give up for now and wait until she comes out."
Sasuke turned, putting his hands into his pockets, and started to walk away. He stopped walking beside the tall fence, hearing faint voices from the outdoor bath on the other side.
"I... I used to have a crush on Sasuke, too, okay?!"
Sasuke's eyes widened and he pressed his ear to the wall and strained to listen. "That's her voice! And... she's talking about me!"
"...He never asked for attention, and he didn't return any of it. I'd be really annoyed all the time, too, if mobs of guys wouldn't leave me alone when I wanted to be!"
