Sena wiped her forehead, then checked the temperature of the liquid and took a step back.
"I think it's finally done."
Eyes all turned to her and Natsumi quickly jumped to her feet.
"Really? It's done?!" Natsumi stood beside her and peered into the decanter. "It just looks like tea."
"That means I did it right." Sena smiled at her. "Now, the book says that the antidote has to be given within five minutes of it being finished, or else it's no good." She put her hand on Natsumi's shoulder. "So, I know it's not really... an ideal method, but if you hurry, it'll be over faster."
Natsumi nodded slightly and watched as Sena poured the liquid into a teacup, and then waved her hands at the others in the room.
"Now, you all, get out."
"But why?!" Ino protested.
"It's just a little kiss, right?" Kiri raised her brow. "I don't see why we all need to clear out."
"Get out." Sena pushed Kiri out of the door, frowning slightly. "Give her some privacy."
"Okay, okay; I'm going."
Sena looked at the others, who reluctantly followed.
"Hmph." Naruto crossed his arms with a frown. "I don't like this at all... I don't see why she has to help that jerk Sasuke anyway... and how is a kiss gonna fix anything, ya know?"
"Just give it a minute, and Sasuke will be back to normal." Sena sighed and shut the door behind them.
"Hmph." Naruto squinted and looked through the glass, only for Sena to block it with her body.
Once alone, Natsumi looked at Sasuke, who had been sitting in the chair without a word, looking almost grim as the antidote had been brewing.
I feel like I should say something to him first, but what? 'Sorry for breaking your heart while you were under the influence of a love potion? '
"Don't do this." Sasuke spoke up, his tone pleading. "I want to keep loving you. Looking at you makes me feel like I've been dead and my heart is finally beating again. You're so beautiful, and I love your voice, and your smile, and your nose, and your eyebrows, and your chin, and-"
"Okay, I get it." Natsumi held up her hands, making a face as she averted her eyes.
He's rambling worse than Kiri when she's tipsy. How am I supposed to handle him like this?
"I'll get you more flowers!" Sasuke sat up straighter in the chair. "I'll write you a new poem every day! As long as you'll love me back!" He blinked at her innocently. "I'll compose one right now for you! N is for Not weak. A is for... adorable! T is for... Titillating! S is for-"
"Stop." Natsumi groaned, covering her face to hide her blush. "Please just... that's enough."
As much of a 'genius' as he is, he sucks at writing poetry.
"If that's not enough to make you fall for me, how about a song? You're the only person I would ever sing for again." Sasuke cleared his throat, and before she could protest, he started to sing softly.
She froze in place, peering at him behind her hands, staring at him.
W-W-What is this?! S-Sasuke can...?! Sing?! And he sounds really good, too!
She shook her head quickly and pinched her cheek.
No, I can't be impressed by his singing! This is serious, and he's intentionally distracting me!
