Bowser and Peach, despite all their troubles and anxieties, were happily married a year after Bowser's proposal. They had needed the time to get the Mushroom Kingdom's king and queen to approve and give their blessing, something Peach had been insistent on getting. Not to mention Mario, who needed a lot of convincing to be anywhere near okay.

Speaking of Mario, Bowser had properly contacted him this time, saying Peach was perfectly safe and that there was no need to come rescue her. He had also added that if the plumber insisted on coming for her, to please use the front gates, instead of breaking into his castle. Thankfully the short man had listened to the latter half of the letter, and was dumbfounded when he found out Peach was not only safe, but engaged. That had been a long conversation.

Eventually, they had convinced everyone that this was what they both wanted. There was still a lot of hesitation from the onlookers. Although King Toadstool knew everything would be okay when Bowser teared up as the old man gave his blessing. Having a man so excited to marry his daughter calmed his nerves.

As far as their political relationship went, the people of the Darklands were elated to finally be getting more land. And, thankfully, there was enough room between the two kingdoms that there would rarely be any clashing. Besides, any cases of that happening were usually calmed quickly by the kind nature of the mushroom people. All in all, relations were going even better than expected.

Their wedding was a rather simple affair, the event focused mainly on the main two. They stuck to each other like glue the entire night, seemingly absolutely crazy about each other. There was no doubt that they were deeply, madly in love, and there were many envious couples looking on as they danced and talked all night.

In the year that they had been together, Bowser had learned from his mistakes. He now communicated everything to Peach as openly and plainly as possible, and did his best to never lie to her. Of course there were slipups, but Peach had also learned to listen before flying off the handle and running off. They had been doing better than even imagined, which calmed Peach's nerves significantly.

Now? It was nearly ten years later, and they were still just as in love with each other as they had been the day they were married. Often in meetings together, they were a powerhouse of a couple. Between Peach's empathetic heart and Bowser's political prowess, they were a real force to be reckoned with, and their joined kingdoms flourished. They had even built another castle of their very own, out towards the countryside. It was smaller, but they were over the moon about it.

Within that ten years, they had also built a family. The first addition had actually practically been left at their doorstep one rainy night. It had been a box full of seven koopa babies, all of them extremely young. The royal couple had decided to keep them all, nervous about having so many kids at once, but soon found parenthood to be incredibly fun.

Then, there had been a rather unexpected miracle. Peach had become pregnant with a child of their very own. They had been extremely lucky, as the childbirth process nearly killed the queen. Still, they loved their son all the same, naming him Bowser Jr.

There were many nights after that that the couple would sit with their children scattered about their laps, furniture, and the floor. The young parents would tell them all stories, or sing them songs, anything the kids wanted. They all seemed as though they would be unique, incredible people, and their parents couldn't be more proud.

Although, their favorite nights were those they spent alone. Most often taking a walk along the countryside at night, while the kids were asleep. They never strayed too far, careful to keep a close eye on the castle just in case, but they still wanted that time together.

Most often they could be found gazing at one another in the moonlight, talking with each other just as they always had. Everything between one another felt as natural as it had the day they met, and they relished in it. In fact, they relished in each other, sometimes to the point of being unable to wait until they got home to really appreciate one another.

In all truth, the two of them couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out, and they wouldn't change a thing.

A/N: Hey everyone. Thank you so much for reading to the end if you did. This note is going to be a dedicated letter, so if you aren't interested in that, let me give you my thanks again and wish you all a good, happy day and life.

Now, I just want to start by saying I really never thought I was going to come back to this fic. I started it when I was 14, updated it once when I was 15, then ditched it. I remember looking back on every new review wishing for more and simply feeling bad. I just didn't have the drive to continue writing this, as much as I had loved the concept.

Then my life went downhill, in a way. I am currently jobless, constantly stuck at home with few friends, and I was dumped this past December. For some reason, this all led to me coming back to this fanfic. As I started writing this again, I felt an inspiration and drive that I hadn't felt in months, and it drove me to continue. Not to mention those who were kind enough to leave reviews. To the person who waited two years for this fanfic to be updated, I hope this was a satisfying end. I know it breaks the canon, but after all I've suffered in my love life, I wanted to write a happy ending.

So, again, thank you all for reading and giving me something to be excited about and to look forward to. I can never thank you all enough. Now, though, I'm off to continue writing a different abandoned fanfic. Gotta keep going on that inspiration train, lol.

See you all next time!
