Harvey's POV
When I discovered that Max and I were offered a contract for a brand new CBBC show I almost screamed.
Things had been going downhill recently though I didn't like to admit it. Our show 'FOMO' hadn't been getting the views it used to and there was a decline. One of the BBC bosses had even threatened to axe it off air completely. So it was a huge relief when this crazy new idea for a show was offered to us. We of course signed it, laughing and singing and jumping up and down in excitement, and both of us agreed that the only proper way to celebrate was to have a huge party.

It was refreshing to see that Max was much happier after the day he'd had last week. I was surprised when he returned home that day full of smiles, but glad to see that he was optimistic. He deserved better than Mackenzie anyway. And this new contract really sealed the deal of his happiness. We messaged a large group of people from cbbc and college inviting them to the party and it was going to be huge.

"Jess can you pin this banner up please?" I ask.
"I can't reach up there I'm far too small!" She laughs.
"Fine I'll get the ladder!" I tease and head towards the garage.

An odd sight meets my eyes as I enter. Max and Hannah are stood in a corner whispering frantically to each other and Hannah looks guilty. I clear my throat to make them aware of my presence and they quickly look up and stand apart from each other.
"Where's the ladder?" I asked max.
"Just in that cupboard over there!" He mutters not meeting my eyes. As I glance to the side of him, Hannah looks flustered.
"Are you ok babe?" I ask her.
"What? Oh yeah, just feel a bit sick that's all." She says and attempts to smile.

I grab the ladder and walk back to the living room feeling very confused.
"Here!" I offer the ladder to Jess who places it down and walks up a step before turning back.
"Will you hold it?" She asks.
I nod and grab hold of the ladder as she makes her way up and notice, horrified, that I have a very good view of her behind.

I avert my eyes and start anxiously humming a random tune. Jess turns, "stop it will you that's really distrac..."

Next second she's falling towards me and without thinking I reach for her, catching her in my arms. There are several seconds of awkward staring at each other before I hear a cough behind me. I turn to see Hannah and max stood there, neither of them looking happy.

I quickly release my grip on Jess. I hear a thud before realising, horrified, she had fell to the floor.

As max helps her up, Hannah whispers to me. "We need to talk" she says solemnly.

Just then, the doorbell rings and 15 odd people enter the room. "Later" I say as I head towards Dylan, extending my hands in a friendly greeting.

....
Later that day

As the party was in full swing and I was in a deep conversation with another friend of mine. I see hannah heading towards me and realising with a jolt of panic that she wanted to talk. I knew this couldn't be good.

"Hey could we have that chat now" she says. I nod and follow her to a quiet corner of the room, high fiving several people on the way.

"So I really don't want to have to say this, especially now when your having such a good time, but if I don't say it now I know I never will"

I take a sharp intake of breath.

"I don't think this is working out"

I reel over in shock. I can't breathe. The room is spinning.

"No you can't do this" I say.

"I'm sorry babe but it's for the best"

"DON'T CALL ME BABE. IM NOT YOUR BABE ANYMORE" I shout, Running into the garden with tears streaming down my face. Through the corner of my eye I see max looking very scared heading towards Hannah....
