(3rd POV) "Hi jay!" A girl said as Jay walked by "Hi" Jay said "Jay!" Another girl said "Hey what's up?" Jay said back "Hi" another girl said "Why do you torture them? Just pick someone to take to cotillion already" Carlos said to Jay "I'm going solo. That way, I can dance with all of them" Jay said and Hailey rolled her eyes at him. "Ah! You're the expert! Um, Jay...if you were gonna ask someone, what's the best way to go about it?" Carlos asked Hailey knew that he had a crush on Jane I mean like it was very obvious. "Listen all you gotta do....it look like" Jay said. Hailey was getting ready to hit him but then stopped herself knowing it's not very lady of the court of her. "Oh ha ha" Carlos said "Hailey!" Jane said interrupting Hailey's train of thought. "Hey Jane" Carlos said smiling at her "Hey" Jane answered "I was wondering...if....Uh...you liked the carrot cake last night" Carlos said "I had the pumpkin pie" Jane answered "Oh cool, umm" Carlos said before jay grabbed him "Smooth" Jay said. Evie, Lonnie and Mal walked over to the other two girls. "I have an opening for a fitting at 3:00 who wants it?" Evie asked "Me!" Lonnie said "sorry" "Perfect I'll take you two later" Evie said pointing to Mal and Jane. "Hailey?" Jane said again "Yes?" Hailey asked "I hate to keep bugging you, but the decoration committee needs more answers. So as much as I hate to um...you know...um" Jane said "Bug me?" Hailey finished her sentence for her. "Right" Jane said "Yeah, Jane I would love to. I just have to get to class" Hailey said about to leave but Jane stopped her. "You know, just nod if you like it. Chair swings, entry banners, twinkle lights, napkin design, table bunting. And you still haven't picked the party favours yet." Jane said to Hailey "Honestly Jane whatever you think-" Hailey started trying to get out of the situation. "I mean, we can do key charms, pen toppers I kind of love the pen toppers, but I mean we can do all three" Jane trailed on. Hailey's eyes flashed electric blue before she closed her eyes calming herself down and turning back to Jane. "I say pen toppers" Hailey says trying to ignore what happened "Yeah?" Jane asked "Yeah" Hailey confirmed "You won't regret it" Jane said "I can hardly wait to see what you're wedding looks like!" Lonnie said "Yeah me too" Hailey said before she realized "wait what?" She said "The royal Cotillion is like getting engaged to be engaged to be engaged" Jane said "I knew it!" Mal and Evie said at the same time "Well, everyone knows it!" Lonnie said "I didn't know it! How come nobody told me that? Is my entire life just planned out in front of me-" Hailey said before Ben came over to her "Hey Hailey" he said standing behind her. "Hi, Ben" Evie, Jane, Lonnie and Mal said "Oh, oh quick moment!" Jane said pulling Ben away from Hailey "all right they're almost done with the surprise for Hailey's big night! Snow White, Belle. But the one you designed for Hailey is my favorite!" Jane said showing him pictures of the different stained glass windows ending on one of Hailey with her blue hair in a dark blue dress and some black leather gloves. "Make sure her eyes are blue" Ben said to Jane before turning to Hailey "uh see you later" "Okay" Hailey said before leaving. "Which blue should I use?" Jane said holding up three samples of blue stained glass. Ben looked at the three of them picking up one that reminded him of her eyes when she was using her ember. "This one" he said confidently.
