(3rd POV)
The four VK's and Ben got to the old hideout since they knew Hailey would be here.
"Wish me luck" Ben said as he started up the stairs
"All the way up" Jay said
"Good luck" Mal said
(Hailey's POV)
I was spray painting a large picture of me and the other four VK's when I heard a voice.
"At least I don't see a picture of me with horns and a pitchfork" as soon as I heard the voice I turned to see Ben standing there in an all leather outfit with a beanie.
"Ben..." I said
"Hailey, I'm so sorry about our fight. It was my fault. Please come home" he said holding his ring out to me.
"Ben...I am home" I said walking towards him
"I brought the limo" he laughed "it's a sweet ride" he finished
"I don't fit in, Ben. I really gave it my best shot. And if you think I can change, I think you're wrong" I said
"Then I'll change. I'll skip school, have more fun. You know. I'll blow off some of my responsibilities" Ben started
"No, no! See? I'm such a terrible influence! It's only a matter of time before I do something so messed up that not only does the kingdom turn on me, but they'll turn on you too" I said on the verge of tears
"Don't quit us Hailey. The people love you...I love you...don't you love me?" He said. For the first time in my life I was scared.
"I have to take myself out of the picture because it's whats best for you, and it's whats best for Auradon" I said
"Hailey, no, please" Ben tried convincing me but I started walking away
"Ben...you should go Ben..." I started walking back over to the wall "Ben please go. Please leave" I begged
Ben left leaving me alone. I paced around the room breathing heavily. I heard a voice from the outside microphone.
"H? Hailey it's Evie. Let me just talk to you for a second" Evie said
"Hailey come on" Mal said
"Go away!" I screamed through the microphone
(3rd POV)
"Let's give her a few hours to cool off" Jay said to Mal and Evie
"Guys! Where's Ben?" Carlos asked
"Ben?" The four VK's looked around before seeing a figure walking towards them
"Ben don't scare us like that!" Mal said
"Don't scare you?" A voice said revealing Harry hook "but that's my specialty" he continued
"Harry..." Mal said
"What did you do with Ben?" Evie asked
"Oh uh. We nicked him. Mm-Hmm. Yeah. And if you ever want to see him again, have Hailey come to the Chip Shoppe tonight...alone" Harry started "Uma wants a little visit...aw Jay seems you've lost your touch" Harry said before he walked away. The four VK's went up to Hailey to tell her what happened.
(Hailey's POV)
"If you guys never would have brought him here this never would have happened. What were you think?!" I said angrily
"He was gonna come with or without us we just wanted to protect him!" Evie said
"Yeah and we completely blew it" Carlos said
"Okay! Okay. So what are we going to do?" Jay asked
"We' are not going to do anything. This is between Uma and me. And shes a punk. And guess what? Now I have to go get him" I said still angry
"Woah woah. Hailey. You're still gonna have to go through Harry Hook and his wharf rats" Carlos said
"Yeah you're gonna need us" Jay said
"Uma said to come alone" I said
"Hailey come on" Evie said
"She said to come alone..." Mal said agreeing with me
"I know one thing. I'm not going anywhere" Carlos said sitting on the couch
"We'll be here when you get back" Jay said
I walked out and started towards the chip Shoppe.
I swung open the doors of the Shoppe and stood there
"I'm back" I said
"Loser party of one...right this way please" Uma said before pushing a chair towards me. I sat down at the table.
"Place still stinks" I said
"Oh I'm sorry we're down a butler today, princess" Uma said sarcastically
"Where is he?" I said trying my best to not blow up at Uma
"You know I've dreamed of this...you wanting something from me and me watching you squirm like a worm on a hook" Uma said
"I'm so flattered that you dream of me I haven't given you a thought since I left" I said sarcastically. Uma slammed her hand down on the table.
"Obviously..." Uma said "you have your perfect little life don't you? Doesn't she have the perfect little life?" She said to the other people and they agreed I rolled my eyes. "And we're 20 years in a garbage strike" she finished
"Listen if you have some kind of score to settle with me, game on. I see no need to bring Ben into this" I said and she laughed
"It might be a little unnecessary but oh, it is so much fun. Here's the deal" Uma said
"Just like your mother, always a catch" I said. Uma sat down and put her arm on the table.
"If you win, Ben's free to go" Uma said and I put my arm on the table accepting her offer. "Don't you wanna know what I get if I win?" She said in an innocent voice
"Still dreaming" I said as we both grabbed each other's hands.
"Last time I checked your father thought he had it all sewn up too Huh? How'd that work out for him again?" Uma asked.
"On three" I said
"One"
"Two"
"Three" we both said as we started
"You know that whole princess act, ugh, never bought it for a second. You can stick a tiara on a villain but, you're still a villain" Uma said obviously trying to psych me out
"And you can stick a pirate hate on but you're still shrimpy!" I said making her almost lose. I smirked as my eyes and ember started glowing which allowed me to get her hand almost the the table
"If I win you bring me the wand" Uma said causing me to snap out of my focus causing her to win.
"Now. If you want beasty boy back, bring me Fairy godmother's magic wand, to my ship tomorrow at 12:00 noon...sharp.." she said walking away but she stopped "oh! And if you blab...you can kiss your baby goodbye" she said this time walking away.
What am I going to do...
