I have been walking around the town, posters of missing people covered every lamppost. it wasn't the best place for someone to stay, considering the percentage of the missing children and adults was sceptical and makes the place seem more fun, would you go missing next? but there was not many wanted posters in this town.
as it became dark again and I had gotten more food from the first shop I had seen, I ate a sandwich and drank some hot chocolate to make myself warmer as it got chilly, lights became to flicker and everyone came outside and headed to one place.
it was questionable, the lights and the children's happy faces in car windows as they all headed in one direction.
to the boardwalk.
more lights appeared, more colours and children's happy voices echoed the place with tall rides and candy stalls in the distance.
I came under the sign saying 'welcome to Santa Carla boardwalk'. as more children and adults where chaotic and running around onto rides and into shop stalls.
it was beautiful. the most gorgeous place I have ever seen in my life.
there was stalls on the left, for popcorn, candyfloss, hot dogs, burgers and drinks that made the scent stronger than anything in the area. in the centre was carnival roller coasters, carousels, Ferris wheels and bumper cars as children and older people screamed and laughed as the ride went faster.
and on the right where restaurants that's had Chinese and Indian food on the windows as people left and entered the place and of course, the beach all around.it was everything a child could dream of, it was like how it feels as a child when your going to the fair and you get so many sweets you would hear your parents say your going to get sick but your just too overwhelmed to care.
it was everything, children where in dresses and shorts as they held tightly on to their parents. gypsies with their long dresses and cool side of clothing danced in front of the stage as people dances and screamed the song 'welcome to the jungle' by guns and roses.bright colours of lights simmered and changed peoples clothes and reflected from everywhere as parents looked stressed because children where spending all their money on toys that are worth nothing from cheap shop toys.
more smells of hot dogs and burgers burned my nose as I stepped closer and walked my way around the ripoff amusements jam packed with people.
and I came towards the shops with children buying comics and DVD's when a child screamed and cried, clearly getting ignored as the young boy cried harder I noticed that he was wearing some boots with trousers and a short white vest and denim jacket, he had short brown hair and a cute baby face. I looked around to see if I could see anyone shouting for the boy before another screech escaped his lungs. my attention was drawn to him as he was dragged around the corner by two elder-teen boys.
the boy clearly wasn't with them as more shouts for help became louder and cries where stronger as the noise of his fear became shorter in the distance.
should I go after him? is he with those older boys? he wouldn't be screaming like that if he was, would he?
I quickly ran towards where the boy was taken as my feet became faster and my worrying for the child got stronger.
the boys high pitched tone came louder and louder as I came closer to behind the DVD shop. I snook my head around the corner to see if I could see the child and the two men.
there was bins in the centre corner and just mud with a fence trapping an exit.
and to my luck the boy was there. and so where those men.the child's face was stained with tears as the men laughed at him.
