17. 'the devil herself'

(third person pov)

As Dwayne and Angel gone on his bike to where they would feed for the night, Marko and Jacob went on Marko's bike, Emmett and Paul went on Paul's Bike, David and Edward went on David's bike and the other's went in Emmet's Jeep and the Volvo.

they all raced to a hunting range, just the opposite side of the boardwalk and far from the cave. they all parked the bikes and cars before jumping out where a group of men all lay around a fire together.

"this is perfect" Marko laughed as he looked at Alice, Jasper, Carslile, Esme, Rosalie, Emmett, Jacob and Edward unsure of the situation.

Marko and Paul guided them the opposite side from where the five hungry vampires await, they all looked into their faces as they hid behind the trees.

the humans where all laughing together, not noticing that all eleven of them would be soon used for the further existence of hungry vampires, that are going to fight for their lives tomorrow.

yet they saw no shame or fear on what awaits them the next day, as they all looked intensely at their food.

Davids eyes where a strong hint of yellow with a hint of dark- bloody red around as he looked into his food. his fangs popped out as the wrinkles in his skin, his eyebrows disappearing as he morphed into a vampire. his strong grin stuck out as he proudly pounced at two men.

Paul's hair was going crazy in the wind as his white fangs strung on his face,his eyes shone brightly at his food as a huge shade was around his eyes, causing attention when the Cullen's all stared into his gaze.

Dwayne's eyes exposed in red as his eyes where a bright hint of yellow and his teeth exposed as his most attached feature, his innocent and kind, silent face was gone, showing anything but that,  more of a miserable, hoped to be feared look as he ran at the panicking men.

Marko's baby face was demolished, pale and unwanted, angry expression shone as he growled at his feast, his eyes being the same fearful shade as his brothers as his bright white teeth had exposed his fangs as he ripped his feast open, thirsting on their fear.

but what they wanted to see was Angel, and so they got their horrible wish.

Angelica looked straight at her feast, opening her mouth through thirst as her white and cute teeth where replaced with wanting and thirsting fangs, her eyes where a bright shade of yellow and a mix of red. danger. her skin wasn't tanned anymore, it was splatted with blood as she ran at three men, tearing them all into shreds along with her mate and brothers as they all laughed at their victory. Angels happy and lovely opening feature on her face was gone, every inch of it as the Cullen's looked at her with shock, jaw dropping her actions as her kind-self tore her teeth through her food's skin, her vampire self taking over as you couldn't see an inch of goodness in her body.

all of them had blood splattered on their clothing as they didn't give a care in the world, the Cullen's wished they never seen that, they where triggered by it, not eating human blood. They didn't complain though, they agreed to see it and they did but what hurt them the most was the change in them, the way their instinct took over and they allowed it. they never hesitated to kill those people.

The Cullen's and Jacob knew they wouldn't resist the food, but if they wanted to be that good they would have thought back, even if it eventually killed themselves.

"wow" Rosalie spoke, stepping out the woods with the rest of them as they all resisted, watching the five of them throw the bodies in the already lit fire that the men where all talking around. where, past tense, because they are now demolished.

"that was something" Jasper nodded, shaking Marko's hand as they laughed.

"it really was, i didn't expect you to be so.... so... scary" Alice admitted, walking over to Angel and helping her pick the dead men's weight up as they both tossed it into the fire.

Emmett helped too, it's not like there was even a drop of blood left for them to rebel on, so they all helped pick the heavy men's bodies up.

once the bodies where all lit, they all decided to head back to the cave.

Dwayne and Angel travelled with Alice and Esme in Emmett's car as Dwayne trusted Emmett to take the bike.

Esme drove whilst Alice was in the passenger, occasionally looking back at Angel and Dwayne sat together in the backseat.

"how did you too meet?" Esme asked, looking at the two in the mirror.

"i was with Adam, my first night here when they came for a Chinese, later that night i got into a fight and they stopped it, taking me back to the cave as they stated 'we can smell a runaway before we see one'" Angel mimicked the boys as she happily smiled, remembering the night she first met the boys.

"some tough cookie, fighting random boys them moving in with four random vampires that night, must have a lot of trust in you" Alice giggled.

"i had no where else to go, and they knew who i was and i knew they where vampires, i'd found a family, of course i was going to stay when i was reminded by Paul and Marko i had found my mate" Angel smiled, looking up as she met the eye's of Dwayne's smiling more as he looked back at her with complete happiness.

"there so cute" Alice whispered with enthusiasm to Esme before looking out the opposite window.

Once they all arrived at the cave, they talked about the Cullen's past and the trouble with the Volturi and Victoria. Stefan, Vladimir and Martha joined the conversation as they walked into the cave, sitting down as we all talked about the troubles they where facing last year.

the Volturi is almost royalty in vampires, it's a wide family that lives in Italy, they practically made the whole rule for vampires- to not tell any human what we were- they basically choose if we still deserve out existence when we have done something wrong. there was no real vampire out there that the Volturi don't know of.

Aro is the leader of the whole family, he can read thoughts just like Edward, although his are stronger, if he gets the reach of your hand he can see every thought you have ever had in your life.
his friend and worker, Jane can make you feel immaculate pain, it once struck Edward, and he didn't make a deal of It but the girl is strong, and unstoppable. theres clearly nothing out there that girls cant do.

following Aro is his main family members, Caius, Marcus, Jane, Alec, Demetri,Felix and Heidi.

"your parents knew the Volturi" Carslile informed me as everyone looked at him.

"it's in the book too" David added as i remembered how interesting the book was to him, he read it so quickly, and it was the very first time i had ever seen David so drawn to anything other than his wheelchair.

"yeah, when i was visiting the Volturi, after a while your farther came in, explaining he turned his mate and their dying family" Carslile spoke once again.

"how did they react?" i asked about my family's history, this was around fifty years before i was born.

"they didn't understand how a vampire, such a strong and powerful one who had everything he wanted, would kill one girl and her family for love, he clearly doesnt have a mate" Carslile added, looking down at Esme who was next to him.

"he loves your mother" Esme continued as i and Carslile nodded.

"if only he could see how much of the devil she is" i finished.

"is she the reason your here right now?" Alice asked as she drew her attention away from the fountain and towards where the conversation was.

"yeah, ran away after she caused my dad to drive off to another country for a few month, couldn't handle him being away that long" 

"she's a cruel woman, she has the beauty and the power, but the person she is" David shook his head, through his enthusiasm of saying my moms features arnet at all like her personality.

this time tomorrow we would be fighting.

i rested my head back as Edward started talking to Dwayne about his books, Carslile and Rosalie sometimes joining in.

Martha spoke to Esme, Vladimir and Stefan spoke to David, Jasper and Emmett  where talking to Paul and Marko and the rest occasionally joined in Dwayne's and Edward's conversation as i laid there watching his features as he spoke.

the sun will rise in three hours meaning that in three hours, my nightmare of a night shall begin.
