lost and found (LOST BOYS FF)

05.love is real.

once we had awoken, me and Dwayne decided not to wait for the others to wake up, instead i got ready into another shirt of his, a leather jacket and some plain black leather trousers. he was wearing his usual and we both walked out of the cave, as he was gripping my hand and helped me onto his bike, and quickly sped off to the boardwalk.

"i think tonight, we go on every ride in this small amusement stupid place, i mean, if were going to be living here a long time, it would be best to get used to the rides, and yes, we can meet Adam on the way back" he laughed.

"amazing idea" i laughed as he parked his bike and helped me off, keeping tight grip on my hand as we looked at the new missing posters of the stupid Nazis we killed last night.

"so, what is first?" i asked, looking straight at him with a smirk.

"me of course, but no for real um, that one" he smiled cutely as he dragged me over to this tall ride that had two tall loops and a huge drop, the ride was blue, and he rushed me to the front, not caring about the line, and pulled me to the front seat and helped me get buckled in. i knew from where i sat that the ride had a force, its going to make my hair a mess and i'm going to be dizzy afterwards, and after my overthinking the ride started.

the ride pulled us off with so much force, and we went up these two full ramps before coming towards a huge one, that took us a while to get up. i felt it tilt as i gripped onto Dwayne's hand and held it tightly, and then we dropped, i screamed as i heard everyone else scream on the ride, apart from Dwayne, we went through sharp turns and the ride was over very quickly, he got off first, and grabbed my waist helping me up through my dizziness.

he took me on a ride that had seats on all in a circle connected to a big force that would move us up and down and spin us as the music burned my ears from the high pitched volume.

after a few more rides we took Adam on the carousel and got him some candyfloss from the stands as he practically dragged me and Dwayne there through excitement, he soon got bored with us and met up with his brother and my brothers.

Me and Dwayne are walking along the beach and sat on a huge rock, just a few feet away from the water.

"what is your favourite thing about being a vampire?" i asked him, looking deeply into his eyes.

"the family i have, and well, being bigger and more viscous than bears. Come on bears are competitive, and us blooder's  could kill all of them, what about you love? what is your least and favourite reason, as your still a new comer?" he smiled and looked at me, then watched the waves as the tide came closer to us.

"i like how we don't have to fear anything as much when I was human I spent most of my life scared away, like you said we have the alternatives, but the thing i miss the most is sunset, and sunrise. the colours where so pretty, i couldn't even be able to go and see it in person anymore, i have to live with that of course, but that's what i would do if i could go back in time."

"yeah, i cant remember what much of it was like, eventually once your a few years old, you will forget what your life was like before you became a full, it would be good in ways i guess, but also just the smallest things that meant so much are gone forever. Like Casare Pavese once said " we do not remember days, we remember moments" and we have to accept that one day we are going to forget, but your mind will fill with new memories- to store for ever ending existence- with me gorgeous."

"God i love when you do all those quotes with books" i smiled, it really was cute the fact he was smart enough to memorise all that stuff so i decided to quote on this too.

"it was hard to believe that someone so beautiful could be real. i was afraid that he might disappear  in a sudden puff of smoke, and i would wake up" i laughed.

"i love you quoting them back, your smile, the way you laughed and it showed off your dimples and how your cheeks blushed ever so slightly, those are just some of the reasons i love you Angel"

that was the first time he had said that, and lets say my stomach was exploding with butterflies and i could feel my cheeks burning even more.

"i love you too Dwayne" i smiled, before he leaned in and kissed me lightly.

that's when i noticed that love can be real, that it wasn't just created in some book that people read for the appreciation of feeling loved, that once person can love another truly, more than anyone else in the world, making their presence the only thing that mattered.

he is my life now.
