I call Katara on face-time, "Hey!" She says, "Hey." I say back, she looks at me awkwardly. Then Amaya comes in, "Are you on call to Katara Rivers again?" She asks, I nod. She runs over, "Hi Miss Rivers! I love your skills!" She says, the other female smiles. Then my sister goes, I then turn over to the female I am in love with. "Hey, there." She tells me, "Hey." I respond, she then shouts "Okay!" I look at her, "Sorry, gotta go-" She says, I nod. She then hangs up on me, I sigh...
Katara's POV
I sit down, my brother is just talking to our dad. "Where were you?" My stepmother wonders, "I was chatting with a friend." I admit, "What's her name?" She asks, "Oh actually, he's male and his name is Aang." I say, she looks at me. "You sure, that's not like your boyfriend or something?" She laughs, "He's not my boyfriend and that's fine with me." I say, pressed. I mean, I wouldn't mind it but we're just friends. There's nothing going on between us at all, yet so far.
