The Concubine's Cannon

Not a chapter, but a goodbye

So. I'm trying not to get emotional cause literally nobody reads/read this but it was fun! I enjoyed rereading all my old chapters and honestly the story isn't half bad. It could use some work if I ever wanted to redo it but I really couldn't have done this without you.

Now onto what you really want, the inside of my tangled up mind!

(From here on out is just random crap from the past none of which I just typed right now.)

Author: HELLO! This is my usual writing style, putting the names like how I put the chappies. I had a hard time figuring out and keeping myself from writing like that so I apologize if things aren't to your standers. I'll be trying to go over the story along with all of the stories I've written so yay! Longer post time. Anyways more story ideas! I haven't been inspired by any of the au's I've come up with so I need to try out some more. I'm thinking about doing a soul mate au where Shang FREAKS about being soulmates with one of his soldiers. What do you think? (I've been watching too many Korean dramas. I just got into Love Alarm which has soulmate au written all over it)

Au ideas!!! (Again):

Bethrothed (Same as before. The original beginning of Mulan.)

Intern (Same too. Modern au)

Soulmate au (Mulan is clueless about who their red string soulmate is but Shang finds out immediately. He reprimands himself for being soulmates with Ping.)

(Okay that's all the old stuff I'm willing to give you!!!)

So to out some things into perspective I am not writing more Mulan stories, if you request some then I can post my old ones, one being the Soulmate au that I proposed up top, and the other two being Mulan and Shang's life as parents and war generals, it's a story through the eyes of the kids soooo ocs.

Either way I had fun, throughout this project when I was actually writing it, I probably watched Mulan eight times a day for two months straight. I also watched all of the extras on the dvd and I watched the sequel twice. The sequel was too bad to watch over and over again. I did however read a book called, The Magnolia Sword, which I highly suggest you read! It's a Mulan book based off of the original story. If you want any links to the original Ballad of Mulan I have plenty. One of the websites I used is even trying to get a book published from it!

But enough said, I thank you all again for sticking around so long. My motivation to write may have come from the story but the motivation to post came from the first few views. Even if nobody reads this I'm just glad to share my art! I hope you have a good day!

(FYI throughout the last two chapters of the story I listened to Ready as I'll Ever Be on replay to come up with ideas. It obviously didn't help much but I'm okay with that. Goodbye!!!)
