Vincent grabs your hair and pulls you up to him placing his dagger at your throat. He backs the both of you away from the door, all the way to the back wall. There is another kick at the door, and you feel your heart racing. Was it Haldir who had gotten away from the guards, or were the orcs of Mordor already here?

Then the door flies open and a group of royal guards of Mirkwood fill the room pointing their arrows at Vincent. Then out from the crowd Thranduil steps forward. You start to cry out of joy over seeing him again.

You: Thranduil!

You try step towards him but Vincent presses the dagger even harder on your throat.

Vincent: Not so fast my queen.

Thranduil: Let her go Vincent! Your guards are dead and you have nowhere to go. This will not end well for you.

Vincent: To me it looks like I have everything I need right here. She is my ticket out of here. Let me leave this place and I will give her back to you unharmed.

You: He is lying Thranduil! He will never let me go!

Vincent: Shut up you whore!

Thranduil: What did you just call my wife?

Vincent: Oh, as I am sure you can see my lord. Your wife and I were just in the middle of something when you interrupted us. She is mine now. My little whore.

Thranduil: I will kill you. There is nowhere you can go where I will not find you and make you pay for what you have...

Vincent: Carefull my lord. I hold your wifes life in my hands. Maybe now is not the time to make threats agains me.

The room falls silent, and you take a deep breath before looking at Thranduil.

You: Thranduil? Is Haldir safe?

Thranduil: Yes he is safe.

You: Good.

You albow Vincent in the nose, and as he lets go of the dagger you grab it and stab him in the chest. You pul out the dagger and kick him in the stomack, causing him to fall to the ground. The guard grab him and you let go of the dagger and run into Thranduils arms. A guard gives him a blanket and he wraps it around you as he lifts you up in his arms.

Thranduil: Take him to the dungeon! I will be in my chambers.

Thranduil carries you in his arms to your room. He sits you down at the counch and fires up the fireplace. He then wrappes his arms around you and holds you close to him. You cry in his chest and try not to black out after all that has happened.

Thranduil: Are you alright my love? Did he hurt you?

You: No... he just... touched me. His hands they were... I couldnt stop him. He would have killed Haldir!

Thranduil: Shhh shhh... Its alright my love. I am here now. You will never see him again.

You: I thought I had lost you. I thought you were dead. I thought...

Thranduil: I almost was. But I am here now, and I am never leaving you again. I am so sorry that I did not get here sooner.

You: Just hold me... please.

Thranduil holds you tight, and you feel yourself calming down. The fire feels so good upon your skin, and you lay there just listening to Thranduils heartbeat. After almost an hours of complete silence you are finally ready to talk.

You: What happened? Why were you not at Rohan?

Thranduil: King Theoden fled to Helms Deep. We arrived there and the orcs came at night. It was the larges army of orcs I have even seen, and we were greatly outnumbered. But at sunrise more allies came to help, and we won. But the fight is not over, the dark lord Suron is still growing an ever larger army so that he can rule all of middle-earth. I just hope the ring is safe.

You: I cant imagine what it was like. Were you not scared?

Thranduil: When it comes to war I have never been to scared. I have always managed to focus on the job at hand, and on destroying my enemies. But this time I was terrified.

You: What was so different this time?

Thranduil: You of course. I was not scared of the orcs or getting hurt. I was just so terrified that I would never see you again. To look into those beautiful eyes and tell you I love you once more.

You sit yourself up and look into Thranduils eyes. You manage to give a little smile.

You: Well...?

Tharanduil: I love you Odette. I will always love you. Until my last breath.

You: And I love you, and only you my dear Thranduil. You are my white knight.

Thranduil leans in and kisses you softly. You lean back against his chest and after a while you fall asleep.
