It has been a couple days since Vegeta had read the journal. He has become very distance from everything, especially Goku. Sleep hasn't been meeting him at night so the bags under his eyes are their instead.Goku had been getting worried about him. Every time he gets close to him or talk Vegeta ether ignores him or locked himself in his room. This morning had Goku worry more as Vegeta was not in the house. He checked every room but Vegeta was no way in sight. Goku fell back on the couch with a sigh.
'Maybe he needs space' Goku thought to himself. He started fidgeting with his hands as seconds went paced. 'If he's not back in a hour I'll look for him.' Another sigh escaped passed his lips.
He leaned forward resting his face in his hands. This has been bugging Goku for awhile. He tries not to get frustrated with him but it's hard when they block you out. Goku thought of a couple of scenarios that could have happened. One, a bad nightmare. Two, something that involves Goku.
He was pretty sure it was the second option as Vegeta won't talk to him or even look at him, without him knowing.
Five minutes later he was out looking for Vegeta. He said an hour but in his head it was. Goku couldn't feel his power level so he had to just look around. He checked the forest and the hidden river only Goku knew about. Vegeta was nowhere to be found.
A location of where Vegeta could be at popped into his mind. Goku took of flying to the park. Something was telling him that Vegeta will be there. No sure why but went with it.
It around 5 minutes to arrive. Sure, he could have IT there but he always liked to look at the different scenery below him. He feet hit the ground with a small thud, stirring up some dirt.
Goku made a humming sound while scanning over the land. You could hear the sweet chirping of birds in the area. In the distance you could see a playground where little kids would play and laugh. He smiled remembering when he was a kid.
Then a butterfly flying gracefully past him caught his attention. He'd always had in interest for butterflies. Mostly on their unique color scheme and how we would fly. He shook his head as he was not here to look at butterflies all day.
His eyes then drifted to a bench not to far away from him. The person sitting had their back turned. A sigh of relief passed through his lips as he realized it was Vegeta.
He walked to him slowly, stepping on the soft green grass below him. He chewed the inside of his lip, nervousness appearing.
He reached his hand out to tap him, he hesitated for a second. Vegeta jumped at this sudden touch. He turned around who faced him. They made eye contact with one another.
A glint of fear and anger flashed over Vegeta which concerned Goku. He walked around the bench and sat next to him. Anyone could tell that there was tension in the air.
Vegeta looked down as Goku kept his eyes on him. Goku was the first to break the tension. "Are you ok? You've been distance Vegeta." Goku was generally concerned about him, which made Vegeta more angry and confused.
"I-...ugh." He groaned, not able to be forming words. He sat up and leaned against the bench. "Just confused." He admitted while looking up at the sky to see small birds rush by.
"About.. what?" Goku spoke softly. Vegeta wrinkled his nose as he was now getting frustrated. Goku kept a soft expression while he waited for an answer. He always adored when Vegeta made face. He would be like a candle melting back then when Vegeta made those faces.
"None of your concern." He said coldly. Goku frowned by his behavior. "You know...... you can tell me anything." He said sweetly, trying to make Vegeta feel comfortable. Vegeta just sighed him and scoffed.
