Chapter 9

Heads up this chapter will be cut in half for a part 2

         Goku was surprised to say the least by that kiss. He started to lean into it, lifting his hand to rest it on Vegeta's cheek as an instinct.

Vegeta snapped out of it when Goku started kissing back. The taller Saiyan was pushed back, Vegeta quickly getting off the bed.

He stood there inches away from the bed with wide eyes like an owl. A mixture of horror and angry swirled in his eyes. Goku started back at him with confusion and worry in his own eyes.

He shook his head lightly and mumbled "No.." faintly before sprinting out of the room.

Goku got off the bed and ran after him. "Vegeta?!" He shouted to the other Saiyan that was out of sight now. The door was left wide open with the rug crooked at the front.

Goku had no time to worry to about that, he rushed out the house. He flew up towards the sky to see if he could spot Vegeta.

Scanning the terrain like an hawk Vegeta could not be found. Goku couldn't even feel his Ki. He flew around to see if he can spot him in another area.

The wind stirred around him, making Goku sway side to side lightly. The weather started becoming cloudy as the wind picked up. The air slowly became damp, a sign that it'll rain soon. Not the time to rain clouds.

Goku stared off into the distance as something caught his eye. He squinted his eyes his eyes to focus on the blur.

The blur's color turned to be a Royal blue. Vegeta! Goku flew towards him at a fast speed. The wind blowing back his hair as Goku flew down. "Vegeta!" He shouted as the forest floor became closer.

Goku hit the floor with a loud thud, he didn't waste a second and took off when his feet hit the floor. He continued to yell out after Vegeta.

Goku started to slow down when Vegeta seemed to not be anywhere. He came to a halt as he looked around him. He was just here! How can he be gone?

Goku drew a sharp breath with frustration. All he wanted to do is talk to Vegeta about what happened. Is that so much to ask? To much pride Goku thought. Vegeta had alway had that problem. He has to much pride that in the end, he pushes people away.

Goku jumped a bit when he felt Vegeta's Ki again. This is his chance to find Vegeta and confront him. Fingertips pressed against his forehead as his eyes shut slowly.

His eye twitched as he searched for the Ki. Got it. Next thing he knows he at some type of festival down a large crowded street. People had all types of tents up with items or food. The streets were crowned with people, not leaving much room the walk around.

Before Goku could question why he was there he suddenly got knocked over on the ground. A groan escaped through his lips as he rubbed the back of his head. The second he made eye contact with the person who knocked him over he sighed in relief.

"Vegeta why do you keep-" before Goku could even finish Vegeta quickly got up and continued running away. Goku jumped to his feet quickly, running after him.

"Vegeta!!"

I know this chapter is a lot shorter then I usually write. I didn't want this book to end on the tenth chapter so it'll be part 1.

This book will end on chapter 11! Every book must come to an end:/ not yet though🌸
