Niceish! What did that even mean Penny thought as she stood staring at the contents of her suitcases.

Once she'd pulled herself together and managed to have a shower and eat her first meal of the day she'd then sat and done some make up and her hair so she looked some what human.

The feeling in her stomach still hadn't shifted and the thought of going to hang out with people who she wasn't sure liked her or not wasn't helping at all.

She also hadn't been lying when she said she hadn't unpacked yet. She hating packing and unpacking and had just been pulling things out everyday and hanging them up as she went, but that still left a lot of things still in them. Penelope wasn't the kind of girl to pack light, she had far too many style aesthetic's, she had to have options that matched her mood.

She was searching for her leather skirt, can't go wrong with that no one could judge her for that she thought. That and a band tee of some kind always did her well when she used to go out at uni, not that she did that a lot.

"Almost ready?" Billy asked as he stopping in the door way of her room leaning on the frame, pleased to see that she was in fact getting ready and hadn't gotten back in bed. He smiled at her as she sat on the floor riffling thought her clothes surrounding her.

Penelope had always been shy, she found it hard to make friends and put herself out there, because she'd always been too scared of messing up, it made him sad. She was smart and beautiful, she had a million worlds in her mind but she just couldn't let anyone get close enough for them to see that. That was why he'd been so happy when she get this job, it was her chance to be out her comfort zone become her own person.

She looked up at him panic all over her face. "Yeah, but I can't find something to wear and I don't know where I'm going and what if everyone is already in there when I get there and I have to walk in by myself and."

"Penny breathe." He said rushing into the room pulling her up from the floor making her stop. He took a deep breathe and she did to with him calming herself down. "You will be fine, they wouldn't have invited you if they didn't want you there ok."

Penny looked over his face for a minute before smiling at him and nodding her head.

He looked around the room for a minute, he noted that if she was any younger he would have told her to clean her room, but then his eyes stopped on something. "Why don't you wear this?" He said picking up a red dress that was on her bed in a pile. "Maybe some boots dress it down a little?" He said handing her the dress.

She looked at the garment in her hands, not even remembering if she'd worn it before or when she brought it. "Why do you have better taste than me?" She said laughing. "Thank you." She told him as he stepped over the pile on the floor to get back to the door, almost tripping on his way on a stray shoe.

"What are cool uncles for." He told her as he went to leave her room but then remembered something else. "Be safe ok, text me if you need me and most importantly, have fun."
