Monday. Monday. Monday. I HATE Monday. Monday means school.

I have never been popular at school my Mum always says,

"Do something and get noticed, Amber."

"Treat others how you want to be treated."

"Make everyone your friend."

She has no idea how bad that advice is. I have tried my very best to fit in but nobody would want to hang out with a plain girl like me. I have blue eyes, although they are more grey than blue and plain long brown hair. There is nothing special about me. I look at all the 'popular girls' at school and I would give anything to look like them. To be them.

I got up and dressed into my horrid school uniform that consisted of black trousers, a burgundy polo shirt and a burgundy jumper. I had always hated my school uniform and it always made me look more awful than I already did.

I quickly brushed my hair and applied some mascara, grabbed my bag and started to walk to school.

I arrived at school and walked to registration. I picked a desk and the back of the class and stayed away from the rest of the class. I was so alone. I wanted to fit in but I just didn't know how.

Registration dragged on as usual and as soon as the bell went i stormed off to my first lesson.
