Hellooooo!!! I am so sorry that I have not updated this story in 3 months!!!! I have been dealing with a lot of personal problems. Problems that had severely disrupted my life and even prevented me going to school and continuing with my everyday life.
Also I have recently started doing exams and mock exams so I haven't really had the time.
Anyway I am back!!! And hopefully I will be able to update more.
Enjoy :)

It was Saturday and our new neighbors were due to come for lunch today. To say that I was nervous was an understatement.
I decided to wear some dark blue skinny jeans and a lightweight cream jumper. I tied my dull brown hair into a ponytail and started to apply a little bit of makeup.
By the time I was ready the doorbell sounded. Cliché, I know.
I could hear my Mother welcoming our new neighbors. And called me downstairs.
As I was walking down the stairs I tried to calm my nervous so that my anxiety didn't overwhelm me.
In stood there completely frozen to my place. My nerves started to get the better of me. I couldn't eat. Not in front of them. They probably think that I don't stop eating. I can't do this. I can't do this. Negativity overtook my thoughts.
"Amber, say hello..." my Mother nudged me.
"...Hello..." I whispered. Oh god, they probably think I am stupid.
We all sat down to the table and began to talk. I found out that they are a family of four. The mysterious guy that carried me home yesterday was called Noah and he was the same age as me (16). He had moved in next door with his Mother, Becca, his Father, John and his little sister, Emily, who was 12.
They had moved here in California from Florida because they wanted a change of scene, but they didn't elaborate and quickly changed the subject. Strange.
My Mother went to put out the roast dinner and I had to hold up the conversation by myself. Noah was staring at me the whole time, which made me feel even more nervous. One of my biggest anxieties is that I would say the wrong thing, so that is why I don't often speak.
"How has school been going, Amber?" Becca asked me.
"Ummm....it's been going great, thanks." I smiled but I could tell that Noah could see right through my reply. Things were not great at school. I was struggling to cope with bullies and school work and exams. I am basically falling apart and it is becoming more difficult to hide.
"What exams are you doing at the moment?" John asked me in attempt to keep the conversation going.
"I have a science exam and a history exam next week and the rest continue the week after." I replied.
The questions kept on coming and I was hoping that my Mother would come back soon. Noah stayed silent and so did Emily as I was continuously bombarded with questions.
About 5 minutes later my Mother came back with plates full of food. As soon as my plate was placed in front of me my heart stopped.
I couldn't eat all that! It was huge!
My palms began to get sweaty and a voice was screaming in my head to find an excuse to get out of this meal. I can't do it. I can't do it.
I discretely wiped my palms into my jeans and shakily picked up the cold, silver knife and fork.
I picked up part of a carrot and slowly placed it in my mouth. I am a failure. I am fat. I cut up a piece of roast pork and placed it in my mouth. I felt sick.
I quickly excused myself from the table and ran upstairs.
I ran to my room and shut the door. My Mother would yell at me later but I couldn't do it. I just couldn't do it.
