Song: Death By A Thousand Cuts - Taylor Swift
This ones a little shorter than the first, but it's mostly for the plot.-time skip from where we left off-
As she stepped in her cabin, the feeling changed. It went from being a peaceful and relaxing place to be, to an empty and upsetting room to sit in. She took out her suitcase, and grabbed out the clothes that were placed neatly in her drawer. The clothes that were once comforting and memorabilia, are now dim and depressing. She knew she wouldn't feel like wearing them now that he was gone. Then, she had an idea. She crept back into the Poseidon cabin and opened the drawer that was once Percy's. She took out the hoodies he always wore and placed them gently into her suitcase. She then sat down on his bed and got lost in her thoughts.

Before she could finish her thinking, Bobby bursts into the room and jumps on Percy's bed. "Please stop Bobby, this isn't my cabin to mess up." she stated in a small voice. Bobby noticed her change of behavior and stopped to look at her with an inquisitive expression. "Is everything alright? You're not acting like yourself." he asked whilst simultaneously stepping down from the bed. "No, my best friend is gone, and I'm forced to leave the place I love, you'd feel the same." she said. "Oh, well, dad told me to tell you were leaving." he told Annabeth as he walked out the door. Disappointedly, she grabbed her suitcase. Though right before she left, she took one of his shirts and replaced it with the shirt she had changed into whilst packing.

The drive was terrible, the twins wouldn't stop talking. All Annabeth wanted to do was take a nap, but due to her brothers' annoying behavior she couldn't even close her eyes without being shaken awake. Not to mention, her step-mom kept making remarks about Annabeth wearing his shirt. All she wanted was to go back to camp, but of course, they were already 15 minutes away from "home". Annabeth knew she would never call this horrid house home. After all, she hadn't done very much with her family since she was 7.
-another time skip bc I want to-
As soon as the car pulled in, Annabeth basically jumped out of the car and ran into her old room, stopping to close and lock the door behind her. This was it, the place she was forced to stay. She couldn't help but wish she could talk to Percy. That thought sent her straight back into another sobbing session. Maybe she could IM piper? She felt through her pocket as she looked for a spare drachma. Luckily, she had a few on her. Checking the clock, she noticed that piper would be asleep at this time. She just wanted to talk to someone, maybe she could talk to Thalia, she might be awake. "Oh Fleecy, do me a solid. Show me Thalia grace at camp half-blood." She said as she flicked the coin into the small rainbow she created using a spray bottle. "Annabeth!" Thalia exclaimed as she saw her best friend appear in an iris message. "Thalia!" She responded with a small smile in an attempt to look happier than she was, though Thalia could easily see through this charade. "Are you okay Annabeth? You look upset." Thalia said with a concerned tone. "Im fine, I just wanted to talk to someone." At this statement, Thalia raised her eyebrows but continued to make small talk with her friend.
