[Dedicated to all of you readers who came into my life when I least expected it. Thanks for loving this story. Your love made me finally dust off my abandoned drafts and start work on it slowly. Thank you. Now on to the story!!!]

Amara glimpsed up from her book. Reading in a jostling train was making her head ache. She took a break to stare out the window. The countryside brimmed with green and beauty as always. Opposite of her, Luna was caught up in capturing it all.

Fingers smudged with colourful pastels, she dabbed at her sketchbook. Amara didn't know until now that Luna was an artist. Luna Lovegood was a mystery. Like her. She smiled at this thought.

"Luna, can I sit next to you and see what you're doing?" she asked, smoothing down her skirt.

"Alright."

Amara settled down next to Luna. Trying not to be imposing, she stuck to the far end of the seat. Luna's hand swished along with her platinum hair. Half of the sheet was a brilliant blue while the rest was sage green.

From the ground, multiple blocks of brown stretched out to branches. Each had tiny, stylistic blobs of green. They were probably leaves. Next, Luna took out a white pastel. With a steady hand, she started rolling the blue into white clouds.

She moved with such deliberation, it seemed like she had practiced drawing this exact view a million times before.

Amara moved on from Luna to her book. During that hour, she tried to focus on the book and its world. However, the lull of the train was rocking her back and forth. Her lids fell with its gentle back and forth. Having no more fight to stay awake, she drifted off.

"Amara! Amara!"

Someone was shaking her awake. She startled. Blinking, she steeled herself in this reality. Mere moments before, she was standing in front of that door. You know, the one which held an entire universe inside of it.

"Luna?" she squinted at the girl.

Due to her drowsiness, she swayed. She clasped her hand around the handle of Athena's cage. Backing out the compartment, she dragged the cage out. Luna was about to warn her but it was too late.

She bumped into someone, making the cage rattle.

Athena mewed from inside her cage. Apparently, she didn't take well to being shaken like a can of soft drink. Now wide awake, Amara whirled around. A familiar laugh came out of a familiar mouth.

"You look shitfaced!" Fred exclaimed, bracing Amara with a hand on her shoulder.

Behind him, George tapped his foot, impatient.

"I'm not! I fell asleep," she glanced around before leaning in, conspiratorially. "You know I would share any firewhiskey with you."

Snickering, Fred gave her a parting salute. Along with his grumpy twin, he moved out. Luna and her followed them shortly after. Amara preferred to put as much distance as she could between George and her.

They took their time walking to the carriage area. Amara was telling Luna about her new necklace. She should have been focusing more on getting a carriage than showing her pretty new thing.

Students claimed carriages in the blink of the eye, rolling off, leaving them with two.

One was occupied and the other vacant. Camilla and Rose waved from their seats. Rose appeared different. Amara didn't know what. Perhaps, it was her strained smile or her blue eyes dull as a room solely lit by candlelight.

Amara was about to tug Luna's hand to get on that carriage. She wanted to badly talk with Rose. Out of nowhere, three students ran to the carriage. It was Cho, her friend Mariana and some other Ravenclaw girl.
