They were hanging out too much. Gina frowned at Amara hugging Luna. She herself had not gotten a hug in ages. Let alone an affectionate ' I love you'. Even though Amara did not have to avoid James anymore, she still hung out with them.

She had assumed Amara was just temporarily sitting with them.

She was so wrong.

At lunch, Amara could surely be spotted with them. Gina did not know their names and that made her dislike them more. She wanted her friend back. Shaking her head, Gina threw a napkin at Camilla.

Irritated, Camilla glared at Gina. She had been engrossed in her burrito. Something which the house-elves made only once a year. Camilla cherished this day whenever it would come. Now she was only halfway through. There were twenty minutes left until the plates would be wiped clean.

"Amara has been hanging out with them too much, hasn't she?"

Through a mouthful of burrito, Camilla agreed.

"What should we do then? I feel like she is still healing from all that shit in February," Gina chewed her lip, glancing at Amara. "I think we have to meddle, undercover..."

Rose, who had been talking with Peter, tuned into the conversation. She picked a bean off Camilla's plate which had fallen out of her burrito and popped it into her mouth. Peter's head peeked out. "I heard the word 'meddle' and 'undercover'. What's going on?" he whispered.

"Amara is hardly hanging out with us. We want to know what's happening over there."

A scowl disrupted Rose's serene face. "I know. Camilla told me those girls over there are vicious. They bragged that they were the ones who asked George to talk to James."

Gasping, Gina grabbed Rose's hand. "Wait? What? I didn't know that," Gina looked over to the Gryffindor table. "What on earth is happening with them both. Why isn't either of them making a move?"

"Never mind that," Peter waved dismissively. "Couples will come together when the time is right. That's the rule of romance in novels."

Peter was right. Gina only had to meddle in one thing. She could deal with Amara and George later. Now, she had to focus on how to rescue her sweet friend from the claws of those two girls. Snapping her fingers, she got back to the issue.

"So, what should we do then?"

Rose whispered something in Peter's ear. A disgruntled look crossed over Peter's face. He narrowed his eyes at where Amara sat. "Are you sure it's a good idea?"

"It's a great idea. You won't get any suspicion," Rose promised, pecking him on the cheek.

Sighing, Peter rubbed his temple. "I'll go check what's going on with them tomorrow. I'll integrate into their weird group," he muttered.

Peter was an introvert. He did not just walk up to people he did not know and strike up a conversation. He did know Amara. Though, the other two were complete strangers. They seemed so outgoing compared to him. He preferred to blend in with the trees down in the courtyard. Not amongst random people he did not know.

The library was quite deserted for the middle of the week.

Amara and her friends had a corner all to themselves. Amara's familiar curly hair stuck out from a stack of books. They bore titles such as Latin Dictionary, Czech Dictionary, and A Guide to Danish Conjugation. A pale girl, next to Amara, perused a book named 'A History of Evil'. She had haughty, perfectly plucked dark eyebrows. The other girl accompanying Amara seemed familiar. Peter swore she was the definition of eccentric; radish earrings, and wide blue gaze.
