This is unedited. Leigh and Daphne are twins in this. Jesy and Jade are dating. This is really long and I'm not sure exactly what's going on but I like to live through my stories, lol. Don't sue me if it sucks!!

Daphne's POV:

"Do you see them?" My twin, Leigh-Anne asks as we survey the people around the hotel pool.

I look at Leigh, my sunglasses blocking my eyes from her view, then continue searching for our targets.

"Not yet, but our intel says this is where they'll be." We stop by the bar as it's easier to see everyone from here.

"Holy shit!"

"What?" I question, immediately on alert.

"I think I found them."

"You think?"

Leigh-Anne subtly points to my left and when my eyes lock onto our targets, I feel a funny feeling in my stomach, which I dismiss as nerves.

"That's them." I breathe.

"But I thought two were brunette and one was blonde."

"In her dossier, it said that she changes her hair color a lot. In the picture we were given, she was a brunette."

Leigh shrugs. "Well, you've always had a thing for red heads."

I roll my eyes. "And you've always had a thing for blondes. If you remember, the red head and the brunette are dating."

"Is that why you were assigned both of them while I got the blonde?"

"I was assigned both of them because they're always together and everybody else that has been hired for the job failed, they couldn't get close enough to them."

"So what are we going to do?"

Turning my head to look at my sister, I find her already looking at me. I arch an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

"We've been hired by two different people. One wants us to take them out and the other wants us to protect them. What are we going to do?"

"I don't know yet." I sigh and turn my attention back to the trio in question.

"That's why you wouldn't accept payment until the job was done."

"Exactly. I like to keep my options open." I look around, feeling uneasy. "Go mingle with them."

"You're not coming?" Leigh-Anne questions nervously.

"No. Something feels off so I'm gonna stay here for a little bit and see what I can see. Go on over, you'll be fine. I'm sure they won't bite unless you ask."

Leigh rolls her eyes and walks over to the trio. I keep an eye out to see if anyone is watching Leigh. Something about this job doesn't feel right, that's why I convinced Leigh we should take both jobs. We're the best at what we do but this job is different. We did some research on the girls after accepting the jobs and the only people we found that would want them dead are business competitors but I was unable to trace the contract back to any of them.

"Daphne."

"Yeah?"

"You should come meet them, they're really nice. And Jesy said she'll only bite if you ask nicely."

"What if I beg for it?" I laugh.

Leigh hits me in the shoulder, laughing. "It's good to hear you laughing again. You've been too serious lately."

"Yeah." I sigh. "What did you say your name was?"

"Anne. Have you decided what to do?"

"What do you want to do?"
