This is unedited. Hope y'all enjoy. I know this took a long time for me to post and I thank y'all for being so patient with me. There is some very bad smut in this😂😂
You've been warned. Read at your own risk. The chain below is the one Daphne is wearing.Jesy's POV:
Tour has been going on for a little over a month now and sharing a room with Daphne every time we stay at a hotel is extremely hard. She's barely spoken to me since the morning after we went to the club. I remember her stopping us from sleeping together and saying she would be there when I woke up, which she was. We could've talked that morning, maybe gotten to the point where we could've been around each other without feeling uncomfortable, but I panicked. I played it off like I was just drunk and me wanting her to take me home was just the alcohol talking, even though it wasn't. I saw the hurt flash in her eyes at my words, just like when I broke up with her years ago.
She speaks to the girls occasionally but most of the time she stays silent. Everybody is taking notice of her subdued demeanor and most have figured out it has something to do with me. Her friends won't talk to me and the girls have been pushing me to fix things between us. This tour is supposed to be fun, not full of tension and silence.
After the show, we all agreed to shower here so when we got back to the hotel, we could just go to sleep. I'm the last one ready to leave and I follow everyone else out to the van that will take us to the hotel. Jade, Leigh, Pez, Chloe, Astrid, and Roselyn take up the very back rows, leaving Daphne and I to sit in the first row. The remaining dancers get in a second van and we're off to the hotel.
I feel somebody smack the back of my head and I turn around quickly to glare at Jade. She just nods her head in Daphne's direction. Rolling my eyes, I turn back around, and sigh. I don't want to talk to her in front of them because I know if I do, she'll hold back and won't say what she really means. I subtly glance at her from the corner of my eye and notice the silver chain she's wearing. She used to wear it all the time when we were in school and she never took it off until six months after we started dating. Her grandfather gave it to her when she was around eight years old for being so brave after they were in a car accident. She told me that story right before she took it off and put it on me, saying that it was given to her by someone special to her and now it was on someone special to her. I felt like the luckiest girl in the world and I didn't take it off until the day I left.
She has her AirPods in and is nodding her head to the music while she stares out the window of the van.
When we arrive at the hotel thirty minutes later, the many ways this conversation with Daphne could go has been running through my head. We file out of the van and the girls and I sign a few autographs and take a few photos with the fans outside the hotel.
By the time we make it inside, Daphne, Chloe, Astrid, and Roselyn are on the elevator, holding the door for us. The girls push me to the back beside Daphne and I see her roll her eyes. A discussion is started about what we should do tomorrow since we have the day off. Neither Daphne nor I participate in the conversation.
