Jesy's POV:
Today we're on Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp and I've been pretty much zoned out for most of the interview. Thankfully it's almost over so I can go home and spend the rest of my birthday on the couch with my dogs, watching films and eating junk. Oh yeah, today is my birthday and the only thing that would make this day better is my fiance being here. That isn't possible though because she's in the military and has been deployed for a year and seven months.
"If you're just tuning in, we have Little Mix on the show today and it's Jesy's birthday! So Jesy, what's something you would love to have for your birthday?"
"I would love to see Daphne and just wrap my arms around her." My voice cracks at the end and Leigh squeezes my hand.
"Daphne, your fiance, is in the military and has been deployed for a year and seven months. Is that correct?"
I nod. "Yes."
"Well, we have a very special present for you that hopefully you will like. Are you ready?" Roman asks with a smile.
"Yeah." I croak.
Roman points to the door and we all look towards it as it opens.
The breath leaves my body as the most gorgeous human being walks through the door, a huge smile on her face.
"Daphne!" I squeal, jumping from my chair and running to her.
She opens her arms and when I jump into them she winces. I try to pull back to ask her why she winced but she puts her hands on my back, holding me as close to her as possible, resting her head in the crook of my neck. With my arms and legs wrapped around Daphne's body, I bury my head in the crook of her neck as the tears start to flow.
"Ladies and gentlemen, Daphne is home!" Roman cheers.
"Happy birthday, babygirl!" Daphne whispers in my ear then pulls back. She wipes my tears then pecks my lips a few times. "Hi."
"Hi."
"Jesy, stop hogging her!" Leigh whines.
Everybody in the room laughs. Daphne taps my thighs and I drop my legs from around her waist, giving her another peck on the lips then stepping back so the other girls can hug her. Leigh-Anne and Perrie all but tackle Daphne.
"Girls, don't break her." I huff.
"Calm down, Jes. She'll be completely intact for later tonight." Pez states with a wink and a smirk.
"Perrie!" Daphne scolds as I blush and Leigh and Pez laugh.
"Don't act like both of you weren't already thinking about tonight." Leigh-Anne says through her laughter.
I shake my head as Jade slowly approaches us. She's missed Daphne almost as much as me. Daphne is the youngest of us all but she always protects us and Jade is her lil baby.
"Come here, lil biscuit." Daphne opens her arms and Jade falls into them.
"Group hug!" Perrie cheers.
Pez, Leigh, and I wrap ourselves around Daphne and Jade.
"Guys...I can't breathe." Daphne wheezes.
We all release her but Jade and I stay close to Daphne. The interview is over so we're free to leave.
As soon as we enter the house, Daphne drops to her knees to greet Reggie and Oscar, the two are super excited to see their Mama.
"Has Mommy been giving you cuddles for me?"
