Since this book is based on the Wiccan art of magic I would like to present to you some interesting concept of theurgy.
Most of us love and admire magic but we won't be knowing that magic has eight disciplines that rule it all along. Here, I present some idea about the eight schools of magic. This would help you know the story a lot better I guess.

1. NECROMANCY:
• It is Dark arts. • Involves: Manipulation of the essential life force which infuses all living things. • Other Element: Creation and control of undead creatures. • Practitioner is known as Necromancer.

2. DIVINATION: •Involves: Uncovering mysteries, fortune-telling, and the perceiving of places and people at a distance. •Practitioner is known as Diviner.

3. TRANSMUTATION: •Involves: Transformation or transmutation of object and people, the changing of one of their attributes. •Practitioner is known as Transmuter.

4. EVOCATION: •Involves: Creation and manipulation of raw magical energy. •Practitioner is known as Evoker.

5. ABJURATION: •Involves: Protective spells and the suppression of others' magic. •Other Element: Creates physical or magical barriers, negates magical or physical abilities, trespassers. Banishes target another plane of existence. •Practitioner is known as Abjurer.

6. ILLUSION: •Involves: Creation of images, sounds, figments, or shadows to deceive or confuse the on-looker. •Practitioner is also known as Illusionist.

7. CONJURATION: •Involves: Creation of ephemeral planar portal with a specific, precise destination to another plane. •Practitioner is also known as Conjurer.

8. ENCHANTMENT: •Involves: Influencing the mind of others, either by subtly charming or through compulsion. •Practitioner is also known as an Enchanter.
A Personal Clarification!
Thats the main part of the book! All these schools would pop up on short notice in a limited amount maybe. Also, the characters are necromancers but they know other schools of magic as well. Students can do anything and I go with that belief here. __________
