Eunoia- beautiful thinking

"How could I forget, Mr. Ackerman?"

"You can't do that!" I squealed, throwing a piece of bread at Kenny.
Laughing, Kenny catches the bread.
"Says who!?"
"The rules!" I said, leaning forward. My smile grew with each second I spent with him.
"Is it too late to tell you that I don't know the rules?" Kenny chuckled, eating the bread I threw at him.
Dramatically scoffing, I snatch the bread from Kenny.

Taking a bit, and eating it.

"Mr. Ackerman, you offered to play dominos at our lovely picnic. How can you not know how to play?" I teased.
"Kid, did you just steal my bread?" Kenny mumbled, lowering his head to the ground, with his eyes closed.
Trying not to laugh I shake my head.
"No..."
"Kid... Don't lie to me..." Kenny said, lifting his head and squinting his eyes at me.
"I'm sorry... I just took a bit.." I giggle, handing him the- practically gone- piece of bread.
Kenny took a deep breath before nodding.
"You leave me no choice kid."
Kenny sent his sly smirk at me before pouncing at me.
A playful shriek left my mouth as Kenny began to tickle me.
"Wait, Kenny, I'm- I'm sorry- hahaha!" I laughed, trying to push him away.
"Nope, sorry kid, you gotta learn your lesson." Kenny said.
It felt calm and right with him around. I didn't want him to leave me... not ever... I'm in love with Kenny Ackerman.
"Why, you lookin at me like that kid?" Kenny asked, tilting his head to the side with his smirk. His hands fell from my waist to the ground, caging me under him.
A gentle smile brightened my lips.
"Nothing important, Mr. Ackerman."
Kenny rolled his eyes, pushing himself off of me.
"You'll be whining about it later. I know it kid."
"I think this one will take a bit longer to whine about," I whisper, sitting up.
"What was that?" Kenny asked, handing me a leather flask.
"What's in there?" Changing the subject, I grab the flask.
"Gotta take a drink to figure it out," Kenny teased, smiling wider at me.
"I'm going to regret this," I mumble while taking a sip.
Kenny Ackerman... being here with him.. What wonderful thoughts that don't belong there... falling in love with Kenny the Ripper.
"It's apple juice..." I said, taking the flask down.
"Yep, I don't want to drag you home drunk," Kenny said.
"Do you even remember where I live?"
Kenny stared blankly at me. His smile slowly dissolved.
"If I say yes, you'll call me a creep. If I say no, you'll yell at me and ask me how I could forget..."
Holding in a laugh, I tilt my head at him.
"Where is home then?"
"Home is with me... at least that's what I hope..." Kenny said.
His grey eyes softened at me. Reaching out, he caressed my cheek.
Falling in love together... what a lovely thought...
"That sounds like a wonderful home, Mr. Ackerman..." I whisper back.
Kenny's smile softened and rested at a soft smirk.
"Let's make it then... whenever you want, kid..."
"Maybe in a little bit. But for now, I like being under the clouds," I said, laying down to look up.
Kenny let out a soft laugh before laying down next to me.
"We can stare at the clouds for as long as you'd like, kid."
